« Another relaxing stay. »

We stay at this hotel two or three times a year. Another relaxing stay. Well appointed room, quiet and modern. Slept superbly, one of the most comfortable beds anywhere. Breakfast is very good as is the bar. Staff very friendly. Only disappointment is that you can no longer keep your parking space after check out. I am not sure why the space cannot be retained until 2pm as was previously the case. This is inconvenient, but won’t stop us from continuing to visit as the rest of the experience is always very good.

1 night stay to experience Christmas atmosphere in Ostend. We had stayed in hotel Mercure in Ostend on previous occasions. Room, breakfast buffet were very good. The service at the bar could have been better, the girl of the reception who served us was for sure a better receptionist than bartender.

« Almost a comfortable stay - Privilege room was soso, heating in room was loud and the bathroom extremely cold »

I spend 2-3 nights every 6 months or so at this hotel, usually in a Privilege room. I often had the chance to get one of the rooms on top of the main building which are very comfortable. This time, I had a room on the back side. The experience was soso for the price asked: the heating is loudly blowing hot air right into your face while sleeping, while the bathroom doesn't seem to have any heating and is ice-cold, the view out of the window is pretty sad. Otherwise, its remains a solid address with very friendly staff (as always) and very clean rooms.

« A most wonderful weekend! »

An enormous thank you to the all staff who made our stay at your hotel truly to be remembered by! We were greated by a very pleasant and professional receptionist at the check-in, who made us feel special, which always feels nice =) Thank you also for the free upgrade, our room with a great view on the casino and the Christmast lights was amazing. « Not the service I am used to at Accor hotels! »

When arriving at the front desk, no one their. Waited 10 min and decided to walk thru the hotel and ask if someone could help me. Finally someone came from a room in the back, stopped at the bar and made a talk with the bartender, then had time for me. Instead of helping first the client. Room was small, but must say room was clean. Normally the rooms are larger at Mecure hotels. Because of work I needed to leave early and I mentioned this at the desk. No breakfast package was offered due to breakfast not open yet. No parking options were possible and had to park my van at the casino parking. Checked out in the early morning. I booked the next morning thru Accor app again a room because my work needed me to stay a day longer. I nines that I would be late for check in so I sent a email to the correct email adres letting them know that I would check in around 24:00. When arriving at hotel, there was no room booked. And no room available. Also no effort made to help me. I showed her my reservation and email I sent. Her answer has, I can not help you. I asked her if she received my email that I would arrive late, she then walked to the computer and put it on. I would think that the computer would be on 24/7. I left hotel and will never ever come back.

« Very Good Hotel with Friendly staff! »

Mercure Hotel Oostende is a very Good Hotel with friendly staff!! The hotel is situated very Central, near the shopping area, the Beach and Boulevard of Oostende and the Casino. The rooms are nice and we have had a great room with a balcony on the roof on the 9th floor with a great view! The room was very clean! The room was included with a queen bed, a bathroom with shower and a LCD tv. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice! We have had a great stay in your hotel and hope to stay in your hotel soon again!

« A very decent economy hotel in a great location with excellent staff! »

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great location, only a short walk to the beach and the centre of Ostend. Clean hotel, decent breakfast with decent bar area. The bedrooms were as expected in an economy hotel, nothing fancy but clean. My only complaint, as a well built 1.88 metre (6ft 2ins) tall man, is that the single beds are too small (width and length). However, that didn't overshadow a perfectly pleasant two night stay at the Mercure Oostende.

Good location. Easy to reach with public transportation. Few minutes walking distance from Kursaal. Room on the small size but clean. Good, extensive breakfast buffet. Possibility to eat something in the evening (bistro style)

« I was not treated as platinummember »

Very small room with window on escape way, I have asked on upgrade, but got nothing. One day room was not even cleaned. Welcome gifts I got only after reminder, etc. Normally I stay during Business trips in the Hotels, but this time it was a Family trip booked on Accor Points. After that expirience I want Change my Preference Hotel chain. Thanks and good luck.
