Lovely big room, comfy bed. Breakfast had loads of choices. Special thanks to the lady working at the bar, always cheerful and very attentive, she gave us lots of good pointers and helpful information.

Hotel was very nice modern, however there where a couple of things that could be improved on. Water in the rooms only one bottle on arrival. The bar area is closed at 11 this should be extended to guests as there is no where very local to get a drink if you want one.

Nice building, well located, but maintenance is awful, not maintained clean, cuisine is not good, had to change several times the room because it was too hot (26degrees not able to put it cooler), or air conditioned was too noisy. In all these rooms, carpets were dirty (lot of stains). I asked for tortellini but they were not even cooked: it was so strong that i thought there was nits in it. However the personnel is nice and helpful, but somewhere they fail to have a normal quality hotel.

Stayed 3 nights. Upon arrival i was upgraded to a large apartment. This was a really nice surprise! (Probablh because im an all accor member). Because i care about the environment cleaning was not necessary for a 3 night stay, so i put the sigh out of “no cleaning”. The mijibar was refilled every day, what was great. However the didnt replenish coffee the 2nd day. Went to reception late at night. This guy wasnt really friendly and he couldnt give us nespresso cups, but he would inform staff to replenish The next day. Next day minibar was replenished, but again no coffee. That was a bit disappointing. That was the only minus though. The rest of the staff was friendly and breskfast was great!

Modern hotel with spacious rooms. I have been to Bucharest many times but this was the first at this hotel. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. I did not use anything from the minibar but the fridge in the room is helpful ( like tea with milk so used it to keep my milk in). I was a little disappointed with the heating controls as the air conditioning was either hot or hot (even with the cold setting). It was helpful that I could open the window but then the room can get too cold. Breakfast had a good selection which caters for many tastes. This was an enjoyable stay and I would consider staying again.

I have stayed at your hotel last week for 6nights. I didn't received an upgrade for the room and every time when I am checking in from reception I am asked if it is my first stay... I always request a double king size bed and I receive a twin bed. It is that so hard to find a room with this type of bed? My pacience is running out so I have to be honest with you and say that I will try once more and if this time I will not receive the upgrade for the room I will not not book it anymore in the near future. From the moment I arrived with my best friend until the taxi arrived to take us back to the airport I had the best time in Bucharest at the Mercure. The staff put us in a room on the ninth floor so that we could get an awesome view of Bucharest especially the Palace of Parliament. The room was lovely and clean and the shower was amazing! The only thing that was annoying was the heat in the room. In winter hotels in cold countries switch the air con off and only have heating available with the windows opening slightly. Whilst I appreciate this is the norm it should be changed as not everyone likes sleeping in warm rooms. I like the room to be fairly cool and so does my best friend. The staff listened to our concerns though and did try everything they could. They opened the window further for us and this helped. They even let us see if another room was cooler but it didn't make much difference so opted to stay in the room we had allocated. The staff were excellent at helping to give suggestions at where to eat etc and arranged a private tour to Transylvania for us which is definitely recommend. We also arrived to a fashion show and drinks and food event on at the hotel which we were invited to. I'd definitely recommend this hotel due to the staff being so lovely, breakfast having a great range and close proximity to old town. If I ever come back to Bucharest I'll be staying here again. 1. One morning while showering a plastic door from the roof fell down on me; 2. Another one, I had to change room due to water pouring from the roof of the bathroom, in the midle of the night 3. No complimentary water, and no attention to details. One day you might find the spoon you used for the coffee in the morning, still dirty in the evening. 4. No vanity set in the bathroom 5. We had a comfortable stay. However, the payment process was inconvenient. Our booking confirmation said that the room was prepaid. It turns out that wasn't the case and the booking was a guarantee only. It took several phone calls and emails to sort this out. Alex at the hotel was very helpful though. But as an Accor member, I am not impressed that my booking confirmation clearly stated balance to pay at hotel as EUR 0.00 but I had not been charged when I booked in Sept and had to pay for it in January!

Great team at the reception desk and the bar but I think they need some reward for the lovely job they are doing. I asked to speak with the manager but unfortunately she was not there. She is having a great team and she should offer them more support.
