Good location - 5 min walk from the BTS Nana station & a 7-Eleven literally across the road. We got a grab too and from the airport for around £10 each way. Clean hotel - Spotless room, had everything we needed. Friendly staff - reception team friendly and managed to check us in early after a long flight there. Great breakfast - Decent selection of food, mixture of Thai and continental (pastries, toast, cereal and some fruit). We went early every morning and was basically the only ones there it was lovely and quiet.

During my Thailand trip last month, I stayed at Ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 and had a pleasant stay. Their hospitality is good, nice contemporary-style rooms and friendly staff. During my visit, I met Mr. Ekk, the concierge, who was very friendly and helpful. He was very caring with all the guests, with a smile on his face. The hotel is situated at a prime location in the city, which has amazing nightlife and BTS and MRT accessibility as well. If I visit Bangkok again, I would definitely wanna stay at this hotel.

Solid Option in the Sukhumvit Area

A solid 3-star experience. Usually I like staying at the iBis hotels (in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand), but the combination with Novotel made it feel like we're a second option. It was my first time staying at a set up like that and probably would want to stay in the Novotel portion next time and spend the extra money. The plus is that you get the Novotel-level facilities for iBis prices, albiet more expensive than other iBis hotels. The gems: good rooftop pool and Red Square is a great place to start your night, especially during the 7:00-8:00pm happy hour (be sure to get the Mango Sticky Rice cocktail!) for 199 baht drinks. Didn't like how slow the check-in process was, even when there was no one else around and it seems like the staff need more personnel to deal with the people. Will stay in other areas, but would probably want to compare this one to the other iBis a couple blocks away and the prices, as well as Novotel, if I wanted to stay near Sukhumvit 4 again.

As far as location concerns it is convenient to travel around in the city and close to the BTS station. We also provide the shuttle service to take straight to the nearest BTS Nana Station. Nonetheless, I apologies for the unpleasant experience and waiting time at the check-in and I have addressed it with concerned manager to take corrective action to improve the operation. Fijn hotel! Lekker schoon en snelle internet. Het uitzicht van het zwembad is fantastisch! Het ligt alleen in een straat met heel veel bars met prostituees en ladyboys. Helaas kwamen we hier pas bij aankomst achter. Geen aanrader met kids dus. Het ontbijt is helaas wel echt minder, vrij weinig smaak en keuze. Elke dag hetzelfde buffet.

Leuke kamer, wat betreft de inrichting geen klachten. Er hing echter een vieze lucht in de hotelkamer. Nadat wij daarover klaagde, werd verteld dat ze een monteur zouden langs sturen. Wij waren ondertussen even weg en toen wij terug waren werd verteld dat de monteur een spray had gebruikt om de kamer op te “frissen”. Helaas stonk de kamer nog. We kwamen er zelf achter dat de wasbak lek was.. Gezien de geur, al een tijdje! Ze hebben excuses aangeboden, maar daar kopen we niets meer voor. Ontbijt was, naar de maatstaven die wij gewend zijn in soortgelijke hotels in Bangkok, erg karig.
