It is complicated to get to the parking, too many codes, impossible to arrive without going to the reception. The room is simple, decent services, but it had a clear cigarette smell. The cause of the smell is not the hotel's fault, but it should have fixed it. The hotel must be more assertive with bad customers, because smoking in the room is a damage that the hotel should be able to recover. 200 euros is clearly not enough as a deductible.

We enjoyed our stay. We received a free drinks voucher but the bar was shut! We also find the hot breakfast buffet inadequate - the scrambled eggs were cold and the bacon unappetising - everything else about the breakfast was good. We also could not adjust the air conditioning in our room which was too hot.

I booked and prepaid 2 years ago my stay for this meeting which had to be postponed twice because of Covid. This prepayment was accounted in full. which is superb contrary to some other hotels especially British ones.

As a golden ACCOR CLUB member was nicely upgraded to higher floor, but same room I reserved. Room was on the quiet side (607). Reception staff were polite, but oriented mostly to domestic customers. There was no present (token of appreciation) and welcome message in the room. There was only one bottle of water in the room and welcome drink voucher only for one person. When I asked a second bottle of water for my spouse the housekeeping lady answered, that it's not allowed! The bar was closed on Sunday and Monday, so when asked receptionist lady on Monday evening, got finally the drink, but her attitude was not friendly. Duty manager BAPTISTE made his best to help on my request for slippers, heating my food in microwave and advise on city tours and restaurants. But he didn't give the bathrobe because it's not included in room amenities. There were only one soap and one shampoo in the bathroom. In the end I was nicely surprised by friendly attitude of the lady in reception when checked out on Monday, 15th of February.

Was charged twice for my room, queried on check out as I thought I’d prepaid but told I hadn’t. Now home and checked my bill I have been charged twice. Need a refund

Mister C, I assure you that we have not charged you twice. The reservation was not prepaid online so you have paid at the departure. But before your arrival, we have made a deposit on your credit card. I have sent you an email to show you the proof that the deposit has been canceled at the end of your stay. Really nice hotel, close to the city centre. Room was of a good size, and en-suite was modern and spotlessly clean. Bed was large and really comfortable, and the room was really quiet. Staff were attentive and helpful. Convenient parking on site

Stayed at the Novotel for 2 nights recently. The hotel is well managed and staff responded quickly to my messages concerning arrival. The hotel is next to the station and has a direct link to the main TGV station. Historic town centre is a 10 minute walk. Spacious well appointed rooms.

Very good hotel once you get in through the door, newly decorated, modern, well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. Helpful and friendly receptionist, gave us good advice on local restaurants, Good choice buffet breakfast in a very clean and bright restaurant where you can see the trains arriving and departing. Restaurant not open on the weekend but plenty of choice within a ten minute walk. Private parking is limited, try to get the access code if you are traveling by car. The hotel is 100 metres from the main station so good for rail users. The main shopping areas, old town and cathedral are all within ten minutes walking distance and the hotel is in a good central location.

We chose the hotel as it was close to the station - and it really is - it's a few minutes walk away. Finding the hotel entrance was confusing and the lobby/reception area wasn't that appealing and there was an odd smell. However the room itself was spacious and clean. I was a little disappointed that they were using disposable cups for the tea and coffee as this creates more waste than re-useable ones but on the whole it was a pleasant experience.

The room was good in terms of location and space: one can walk easily and arrange his stuff. However, it was not sufficiently sound isolated !. Trains noise can be heared somewhat easily though the window was closed. The breakfast, is too expensive with respect to its contents and quality!. It could be better...

Great hotel, very close to the train station, staff very friendly & spoke good English. We will be back another day. Easy parking. No customers in Restaurant at 2100, when i was looking for a drink, the bar staff where floating around as no guests in the bar

No aircondition in the rooms at 30+ degrees temperature, restaurant not open, bar not open for amenity drink, no fitness center. Staff didn't ask about stay, presumably knowing that the hotel is miserable

After the check in, we mentioned that the aircondition was off. I turned it on. After 1 hour no tempreture change. I talked to the female receptionist about the aircon. problem. She informed me that the mechanic/technition is already home and the hotel is fully booked, no other room avaliable. I checked the accor website and There were still rooms to book. During our 24h stay nothing hss changed concerning the temperature in the room. The cooling system is to old for the 7thfloor. We slept wirh open windows and very noisy street!!! Though we were totally exhaused for our travel to Larochelle. No good experience with Novotel Tours!!
