A Mandalay abbiamo pernottato due notti al Mercure Mandalay Hill. Hotel costruito ai piedi del colle sopra al palazzo reale noto per garantire una bella vista e un clima migliore che nella parte bassa della città. Il Mercure si presenta bene con una grande hall e un’ottima accoglienza. La nostra camera era grande con vista verso la città e ben arredata in modo tradizionale, bagno con vasca, buon wi-fi. Buono il servizio. Ottima e varia anche la colazione.

In questo albergo abbiamo soggiornato per due notti. La struttura molto grande, personale gentile e disponibile. Le camere nella norma (noi abbiamo avuto un esperienza un po' spiacevole trovando lo straccio delle pulizie proprio sopra al beauty in bagno, dopo averlo segnalato il problema alla reception, la stanza è stata prontamente risistemata). La cena un po' deludente, molto buone le cose cucinate al momento dai cuochi rispetto alle pietanze offerte al buffet; la colazione veramente super con prodotti tipici ed internazionali.

Albergo in zona centrale dotato di tutti i confort. Piscina, sauna, tre ristoranti di cui uno all’aperto con spettacoli, piano bar alla sera. Hall molto grande ed accogliente. Personale gentilissimo e sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente. Ottimo servizio di security. Gli ambienti sono sempre profumati. Dalle stanze si gode di una ottima vista in particolare su quelle poste sul retro. Da queste stanze oltre alla splendida piscina si possono vedere le colline circostanti con le pagode illuminate. Prezzi in linea con gli standard occidentali offerti. Consigliatissimo per l’elevato confort.

Perfetto per chi vuole un hotel con standard occidentali ma il rischio è di estraniarsi dal paese. Comunque, tutto da 8: posizione, pulizia, delle stanze, ristornate e servizio. Peccato che mela stanza non ci siano delle prese elettriche all’altezza dei comodini il che impedisce la ricarica ed il contestuale uso del nostro inseparabile smartphone. Da un hotel di questo livello non ti aspetti questo fastidioso neo...

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in questo hotel durante il nostro tour nel meraviglioso Myanmar. Hotel molto grande con hall e piscina scenografica. Le camere nella normalità, bagno piccolo. Buona la colazione. Rispetto agli altri hotel dove abbiamo soggiornato in questo tour, sicuramente è stato quello più impersonale ed anonimo. Si addice a gruppi e comitive, meno per un viaggio di coppia.
