We had the best experience from the moment we pulled. We stayed on the Gold floor and really enjoyed the lounge. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed the afternoon appetizers/ desert and breakfast. Our room had a great mountain view. Our only regret is that we did stay longer.

We had a great stay, the fairmont banff springs was a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We felt our room could have been cleaner though, we found strands of hair on the pillows after checking into our room and the hotel smelled a little dingy and dirty.

We had to delay this trip a few times due to personal schedule changes and COVID-19 but were so please to finally return and have a late birthday weekend celebration. We are also huge fans of the Gold Floor lounge and the welcoming, helpful, happy staff. We also loved the restaurant renovations to the Vermillion Room and especially the Rundle Bar, which is a much better reflection of the spectacular surroundings.

The Hotel is always Amazing and the service is the best it could be under the circumstances. In Normal circumstances, room would have been cleaned each day and used towels picked etc... This is NOT the Hotels fault.... it is Covid's fault.

The hotel is incredible. We did an amazing private snowshoe tour. Our guide Harry was fantastic. The food was amazing. Our room however, was not great. We stayed in a suite in the gate house. Both nights we could hear doors banging or some kind d of banging throughout the night. The first night, my husband went into the hall at 2am to find where the noise was coming from but he couldn’t figure it out. This constant banging wrecked our sleep both nights.

Happy birthday once again and thank you for spending it here with us. We absolutely loved staying with you. The restaurants are perfect and Banff is perfect. No doubt we had an awesome time. However, staying in the ground floor of the gatehouse was absolutely freezing. The marble tiles in the bathroom took our breath away they were so cold. Not really sure what you can do about that in the basement though. Room 1014 FYI. Kind Regards! We will be back - just not in the gatehouse lol

We have enjoyed the comforts of your Gold Floor in the past and are always impressed with the level of care and attention we receive. The food in the lounge is always delicious and the atmosphere is so relaxing. We were only there for two short nights, but it felt like a week away! Perfection. I am a huge supporter and lover of Fairmont properties. My husband and I have stayed at Fairmont’s all over the world, From Maui to Santa Monica, Montreal Toronto Lake Louise etc. etc. We always stay in Gold ... The Fairmont Banff Springs has, by far, the weakest gold experience. The rooms are awful. Loud, old, with the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen - in any gold level property.

Staying at Banff Fairmont was one of our "bucket list item" and something we had been saving for a while. We were very much looking forward to our stay but unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectation. Honestly, it was disappointing. The service was exceptional but the size of the room, amenities selection and the overall quality of the room was below average. When one comes to Fairmont, you expect five star but that was not the case. For the price of the room, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We stayed on the Gold Floor and honestly it was dirty. Could definitely use some good cleaning in there for the price you pay. The staff and food (almost) made up for it. Next time we will stay elsewhere but come to eat.
