I think it's an exceptional hotel.. it has the combination of formality and totally relaxed atmosphere .. the staff make you feel like it's a home away from home .. what more could you ask for?

We have been many times and we love the situation of the hotel. It has lovely grounds and the views from the balcony are outstanding. The guest services staff were excellent and in particular Zaria was outstanding who could not have been more helpful to us. We did have a few issues such as no mini bar when we arrived. Also we ordered gin for our room and to our horror one of the small bottles sent to our room was water. We considered this to be a serious matter as I could have been poisoned. I received no apology from the Bar Manager which was promised. It seemed to be treated as a normal occurrence which shocked us.

Wonderful stay; staff fabulous, Pauline - Director of Rooms very helpful and could not do enough for her guests. Evident today that this hotel lacks a comprehensive capital investment programme. Gym is tired, machines don't work in tandem with visual TV display. Our fridge didn't work so they pulled in a new one. That should have been spotted long before we arrived. Nathan and Michael on the beach & pool team, simply superb; attentive, diligent and very hardworking. Both gentlemen build relationships with guests in a constructive and meaningful manner. Sabrina and Rozele on the dining team were absolutely fabulous. Both ladies deliver a helpful and fabulous dining experience. Peter - Concierge; again wonderful chap and so helpful. I have noticed management have adopted a multi-task approach to work. I think some are struggling to adapt so more managerial training needed to get staff conversant and compliant. This is jewel in the crown in Barbados and we were not disappointed with our holiday and will be back in April.

The whole trip was fantastic. Pauline and her team were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble for them which was especially pleasing as we had my wife's 87 year old father with us who is partially bling and deaf and early stages of dementia. The whole family were impressed by the experience and we will certainly be returning.

Considering that the hotel, and indeed, the travel industry are just emerging from a difficult period the overall experience was excellent. As for as we can tell the level of adherence to Covid prevention techniques was first class, we felt entirely comfortable with how everything was run. In no time at all we became used to having our temp taken at every restaurant or shop. Wish it were so in the UK!!

The resort was in very good condition. The Rooms were excellent. In particular the staff were very enthusiastic in engaging with guests to check if we were enjoying and whether there was anything they could do to make our stay better. The senior people in the resort interacted frequently as well and were very committed to understanding if our stay was exceeding expecations. The quality, training and commitment of the employees was particularly noteable as we also had a stay at the Crane Beach Resort. The RPV staff service was superior. Congrats -- we would definitely recommend to others and come stay again.

We have been several times and the Fairmont could not be in a better position, all rooms directly face the sea and it is a very relaxed place to stay. Never to busy, friendly, with a wonderful array of staff, who are always friendly and attentive. We will continue to return and hope that it never changes.

The as a wonderful beach and a decent pool.... Rooms are very nice with ocean views. The downside no entertainment and very expensive drinks. The nearest shops in Holetown is expensive taxi ride.

On arrival we were somewhat underwhelmed as the communal areas could definitely do with some updating. Nothing obviously shouted “luxury” on arrival. However, all doubts were resolved upon arrival at our room. Don’t judge a book my it’s cover. The Fairmont can still turn on the charm and certainly did for us.
