Definitely not as impeccable as every other stay we have had in 20+ years. We called ahead asking for early check-in and were told that would not be a problem, yet we had to wait 4 hours for our room. We were in the Boston Library Suite - dated, drab, drafty, drapes unhooked, cheapest possible toilet tissue, no turn down service. Left room in am, back after 2:00 and no housekeeping. Gold Lounge breakfast supposed hot food choices were barely warm and salmon and cold cuts look warm and slimy.

The Copley Fairmont staff simply the best! I arrived early and was greeted at the front desk by Anna who could not have been more gracious. The genuinely friendly service was continued from the bellman to the housekeeping staff as well as the ever helpful doorman. There is also a terrific bar/restaurant that takes you back 100 years.

My room was freezing! The room itself was fine. I stood at the desk one evening for over 20 minutes and nobody even asked if they could help or what I was there for. We have stayed with you multiple times and this was the first bad experience.

I had a pretty good experience at the Fairmont. I was disappointed that the room was a little noisy, I could hear my neighbors music. Service was good and staff was friendly but no name usage by anyone. The gift was and their staff were very attentive and provided wonderful suggestions for take home gifts.

The Fairmont is an amazingly beautiful hotel, I love staying with you when I attend the Harvard conferences. Your staff are lovely, helpful. Food for the conference was very good, appreciated morning breakfast, lots of fresh fruit.

Charged more than $10.00/day for in-room internet use. No microwave oven in the room. The dorm-sized refrigerator was filled with items for sale and had no room for anything else to fit in it without first emptying it. The "business center" has 2 computers and guests are charged at the rate of nearly $28.00/hour for use. There are 2 printers in the "business center," only one works, and it had no ink. Room card keys work for 1 - 2 days. Tiny bathrooms. Stained towels. Insufficient hangers in closets.

Please rest assured that we have taken the appropriate measures to address the problem with our business center as well as our housekeeping services in order to prevent any future occurrence. During your recent stay, your loyalty membership did not populate on your reservation, for that I do apologize. Please know that as a valued member of our Loyalty Program Accor Live Limitless, your first benefit is complimentary Wi-Fi, as such I have reviewed your reservation billing and see that you were charged for a total of $10.57 for internet access. Please know considering your membership I have removed that charge. Additionally, I have removed the two outstanding food and beverage charges that remained on your bill. This will result in a $67.57 refund to your American Express ending in 1019. Finally I have noted this less than perfect experience in Boston on your Loyalty Membership so that during future stays, we will be able to provide a microwave and refrigerator in your guest room as these items are available based upon request and delivered anytime through out your stay. « Good location and an old time standard »

WHile the upgrade and cleanup is evident, this sample misses the Fairmount brand. Thin and scratchy toilet paper is not in keeping with the other amenities - and the absence of a sewing kit (first time in ages that I really needed it) are another indication. THe staff is very supportive which helps but...

I throughly enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and the corridor was quiet. I love that the hotel provides Le Labo Beauty Products. All the staff I encountered were pleasant, helpful and courteous.

Enjoyed the hotel very much...downloaded the app and joined All-Accor. Was a little put off by 3 things: 1. The Oak Restaurant. I had my wife join me for the weekend after my conference had finished. She was impressed with the upgrade work you have done since our last stay there several years ago. When we entered the restaurant for breakfast we saw no hostess and there were many available seats so we at at a table. The waitress asked if we had checked in with the hostess. I told her we had not seen a hostess and so sat ourselves. She very glibly pointed to a spot at the complete far end of the restaurant saying "She's right there" This really gave us a sense that you are not really concerned with your guests but rather with outside traffic as the hostess station is located near the outside street entrance. All of the other hotel staff and systems seemed really keyed in on customer service but not this portion of the staff or systems put in place for receiving hotel guests in the restaurant. We also noted that many other hotel guest couples and families entered and were not admonished and just sat themselves as we did. One family with elderly members, one with a walker, entered and a waitress happened to be near the entrance and directed them to the far end of the restaurant to see the hostess only to have to all walk back near the hotel entrance to be seated. Does that make sense? What of the elderly person with the walker...that was not the level of customer service we expect from high quality hotel. 2 The elevators all spoke of Gold level service and signage recommended inquiring about this with the reception staff; which I did. The clerk seemed unsure or disinterested in explaining it to me, making it seem like it should be self evident and probably would not qualify. This was upsetting. 3. The fitness facility seems a little disjointed and the cable system there was somewhat dangerous as the ergonomics place the user at risk. The free weight area had heat lamp bulbs making it much too hot to enjoy using the free weights and causing unnecessary premature sweating. Why would you place heat lamps there?...the ambient temperature was appropriate.
