« Excellent return visit »

Stayed 6 nights ( Jan 20 - 26) Upgraded room to Suite in Poinciana wing, in celebration of 50th wedding anniversary. This was our 3rd visit to Bermuda. Second stay (first stay 25 yrs ago) at Hamilton Princess . Also booked 3 signature rooms (3 nights) for kids/grand kids (surprise for wife). The doormen, front desk, concierge, house keeping, wait staff "ALL" were extremely pleasant and helpful. Crown and Anchor buffet breakfast was fantastic. Marcus restaurant was perfect for our anniversary meal with our family. Any minor issue we had were quickly resolved. This trip was 25 years in the planning (putting aside $10.00 per week). The experience was A+. The only negative was the WIFI/internet service was not reliable.

« Fabulous Facial at the Spa! »

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the Princess. Overall it was good and we enjoyed the food and the Art on display. The gym was great as was the Spa. I had the most wonderful facial with Pamela! Only downside was there was no availability for an upgrade as a platinum member.

« Very well located - beautiful grounds »

I normally rave about my stays here. Perhaps given the offseason the hotel was not quite what I have come to expect. My room (048) was a bit musty, there was a ladder and bulbs on the counter indicating the room was likely not fully ready, and there were no lightbulbs in the night table lamps. Also, Tuesday AM construction activities above me started by 730 - a bit too early in my view. All in all, I will absolutely come back again and again as it is my hotel of choice. Staff was quite nice.

The trip to Bermuda was a birthday gift for my adult daughter and her family. The hotel was an unknown and selected from reading reviews on various travel sites. I cannot say enough about how perfect the stay was. The hotel is a wonderful mixture of traditional accented unexpectedly with modern art throughout. The food was incredible-prepared with care and beautiful presentation. The staff was equally incredible-from the Fairmont Gold staff to the jitney drivers to the housekeeping staff. Just pure perfection at every level.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and I really loved the art in the hotel. One thing was that my room was moved from the Bermudiana wing to the main building , however the reason was not made overly clear to me. Additionally the room I was moved to was very close to the service lift which meant there was background noise. I am also given to understand that the Bermudiana wing has recently been refurbished and so the difference in the rooms was apparent. The breakfast was delicious although an earlier start time would have been great but I know that you can order to your room earlier. I also feel that it could have been clearer in the amenities description in the pack in the hotel room that towels etc would be provided down by the pool at at the private beach.

Pros & Good things to Report: The customer service was awesome. The rooms were cleaned well every day. The complimentary water was a great benefit. I loved the texting from the people at the front desk. They gave great information and great tips. The doormen were friendly and helped out alot. The shuttle to the beach was awesome and the driver offered great customer service. The people at check in and check out were amazing. I asked for late checkout and was granted the late checkout. I ordered food via room service twice and the food came in time as promised and was hot and tasty. The pool was so nice and the outside fireplaces were amazing. The property was kept up well on the outside. Con's. The lamp in my room seemed to have a short as it flickered on and off 2 or 3 days. The carpet in the room was ripped as we entered in the first part of the room. The hot water for the shower took a long time to warm up. I had to run the water 5-10 minutes in order to get warm water and it never really got hot.

« Very nice, though expensive. »

One night business trip stayover. Arrived at 1pm, a bit dismayed to find room not ready until 4pm (in January?). Changed my plans for the afternoon - I had planned on checking in and going for a run, but ended up working in the office which was less desirable. Once checked in the room was clean and comfortable. I was in the Bermudiana wing which was a bit hard to find. Signage could be improved. All in all, for a total bill of $521 for one night, it was pricey.

Another great stay as a returning guest. When needing to be centralized on the island no better place can be found. Great pool areas and the service is superb. The Gold Room service for breakfast and happy hour and the evening "sweets time" with the choice of small deserts before bed always finish off a good day. Friendly service and comfortable rooms and baths.

« It was one of my best hotel stays, ever! »

I loved how helpful all of the Staff were. In particular, Ebonea Pringle was so helpful with our AV needs for our meetings. She went the extra mile in providing great customer Service, for which I was most appreciative. I was also very appreciative for the services of Oliver, who was extremely helpful to us. The front desk was also so polite and patient with my many requests. My room was so nice and cozy and I was really able to relax and enjoy myself. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay.
