Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn is beautiful and holds a little gem like no other resort I have visited. I enjoyed a wonderful deep tissue message from Rodney at the spa which was amazing. Gerard provided top notch pampering service throughout the day and the food was great. I highly recommend pampering yourself to a day at the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. Such a treat!

Enjoyed spa experience…the main lodge king bedrooms were a major let down. Too small and cramped to move around, only 1 sink in bathroom

As well we are sorry the size of our standard room were a let down. We are working on a renovation plan for the near future however the historic wing rooms will likely remain this size. However our Mission Spa Suites all have 2 sinks as well as our signature 1 bedroom suites that are each much larger in size. We didn't stay at the hotel but the exterior and grounds were very beautiful and tranquil. We paid for a day pass at the spa and got massages. The spa services and amenities were amazing. Our favorite was the thermal pool that had music playing under the water. We just laid back floating while listening to the spa music, it was so relaxing. The steam room and sauna were also awesome. My sister, mother and myself all got a one hour massage and were all very pleased with our assigned therapist. We had a bite to eat from the spa cafe which had a descent little menu to choose from and they bring your food to wherever you are lounging. We had a wonderful relaxing day overall and plan to return!

Pros - incredible customer service, as usual! Pam is always a delight, and Barb and Gerardo really made our day bed experience wonderful and relaxing. Gerardo brought over a large umbrella to offer some shade without us even asking, and we were very happy he did! And Barb’s food/beverage service was on point and she was very friendly and made us laugh. Cons - my massage therapist seemed very rushed and uninterested in my service. She told me I had to sign a form in the beginning if I wanted firm pressure instead of light-medium, but she didn’t know if the upgrade costed more money, and I didn’t feel like her pressure was firm at all even after that. I was very disappointed, as I had an incredible massage last time with another therapist. For the price I paid for the service for both myself and my friend, I was bummed at the quality. The manager discounted the service when I shared my story with him, which I thought was very helpful. Overall, a great experience and I will 100% be returning for the day bed experience, but I wouldn’t pay for a massage again unless it was the therapist I had the first time.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel, The only negative I can say is our room was the only room that had a portable A/C unit not central. Made noise and every time in the middle of the night going to the bathroom you had to maneuver around it and cold air blew on you.
