It was a lovely one night stay, but too short. Next time we hope to have a longer stay for the full experience. The bed was cozy! The room was well put together/clean, and the staff were amazing!

Large, clean, comfortable room, huge closet. Nice pools. The lounge area with comfortable couch and soft chair seating was a bonus. Very comfortable for groups - like being in a living room. Courteous, personable staff. Efficient trolley service to beach. Requested a quiet room and were next to a family with small children. We like to take the stairs. Stairways were very dirty.

This hotel is nice. The best parts are the friendly staff and the location across from the famous Horseshoe Bay Beach. The hotel itself could use a bit of updating. There was a thunderstorm the day we checked out and water was dripping through our patio door.

I have stayed at the Southhampton Fairmont in the past on the Club Floor and had a phenomenal experience. I stayed there again and my experience was mediocre. The attentiveness that we appreciated in the past was lacking. No one seemed to know our names, or to care about what we wanted. It was a disappointment.

This past visit was probably our least satisfied stay. Staff was amazing as usual. Food was great. Our room was disappointing. There was black mold in the closet on baseboards which we cleaned and on the white inner curtain so we couldn’t use those.

enjoyed our stay....hotel was not very full so I thought they could have upgraded us to a better room we went to enjoy the hot tub in the spa in the evening and there were a bunch of kids there....maybe reserve the large one for adults only? overall everything was great.....a shout out to Brent? the manager at the sports bar ...he accommodated a place for us to watch our favorite team and the food there was awesome

My stay, from start to finish, was very relaxing/refreshing. The ladies in the Spa are very attentive and friendly. The food in Jasmine lounge and the Sunday brunch in Windows was superb. Other than a minor issue, near check out time, with my room key I was very satisfied with the whole experience.

« Not quite up to standard of other Fairmonts »

I am a longstanding Presidents' Club member and big fan of the Fairmont brand. Our stay began poorly when we tried to check into the Gold Floor and there was nobody there at the desk and we eventually had to call down to the front desk to send someone up. Then we were sent to a room in which there was already someone in--luckily they were not physically there when we opened and entered the room. When we returned to the desk, the clerk said our "new room" would not have an ocean view which I specifically booked on the website. She kept insisting that the non-ocean view room we were now being assigned was in the "same category" so we would have to be satisfied with that. It took a lot of persuasion to get her to change to another room which was still not quite what we had reserved. Once in our room, there were no robes. I requested four different times over 2 days with no results until I went to the Gold Floor desk and insisted they bring some within 10 minutes. Finally, our toilet was broken which just happens I guess but on top of everything else was not welcome. We were offered to change rooms again but just put up with it.

My son and I came forna 2 night stay as a late birthday present to him and for him to also attend the Magic Show. Check in was smooth and the ladies were pleasant and cheerful. The room and beds were great and our room service was delicious. I was however disappointed with the lack of games in the games room for my son to play and the fact that the one and only bank machine in the hotel did not work. And also when we went to the front desk in the evening to get change for the vending machine they didnt have any change, leaving us to either use the mini bar or leave the hotel to purchase beverages as the gift shop was closed since 7pm. Room service was fast and the food was delicious.

Beautiful islands, nice beaches, but this place is the worst Fairmont we have ever encountered. We have stayed in Fairmonts from Maui, Vancouver, Banff, to NYC, etc. and never have experienced such lack of service and lack of commitment to the enjoyment of the patrons. Room was old, stained, moldy. rotting curtains, not well kept, housekeeping was a hit and miss deal with some items provided some days and not others, no robes in the room and after asking housekeeping they brought up two for the three of us, phone call messages not brought to our attention promptly, welcome gift from our travel agent sent to a wrong room and no apology or correction for 3 days.... trouble checking in as person was confused of our rooms, no beach service on their private beach area, unhappy appearing staff, yelled at by the trolley driver for arriving for the trolley to the ferry at exactly the time the front desk told us to be there, did not receive the welcome drink coupons for being Accor Platinum status ( had to ask and got them on last day ), but at least the setting is nice.
