Awesome lobby with live music, bar, fireplace, art exhibits, what a place to be. Restaurant was delicious, service was fabulous. Great views, room and amenities were great. Heated pool was awesome, hot tub small but enjoyable. Spa was fabulous, two rooftop hot tubs, rooftop sauna and sitting area with heat tables, men's changeroom had a steam room, women's had incredible showers.

Yet again another great stay! Sandy and Patrick on the door are so welcoming. This hotel is in a great location, the breakfast at the Botanist is incredible, the lounge for drinks and snacks is a must! Highly recommend all around.

Double booked suites, Gave confirmed reservation away, Waited an hour to eventually be put in a different room.

Suite was booked in advance as package with extras direct through Fairmont website, upon arrival and check in Front desk staff were left to inform us we did not have a reservation. Upon providing a copy of email confirmation receipt from the Fairmont booking system we were asked to wait at the bar, given a single drink and some nuts while we waited an hour for the desk staff and management to scramble to sort out the issue. Once we were informed our room was ready we proceeded back to the desk to check in and were notified we had been moved into a larger suite- problem was the room we had booked was intentional, the room provided did not give the view or the jetted tub that I had booked and confirmed with credit card. The room we were provided was a suite but not what had been expected. The extras I had requested and confirmed by credit card were not in room upon arrival.. they did however show up in room the following day at some point while we were out. The restaurant implied breakfast had been “complimentary “ as did the spa facility time I had reserved in advance however this was not the case this was included and charged in the extras I had made at time of booking and reserving with the Fairmont Pacific Rim Vancouver. Overall we chose not to let their system error ruin our break, we chose to enjoy our brief time in their hotel, certainly not the five star experience I am accustomed to when travelling world class cities such as Vancouver, BC nor would I have ever expected such disappointment from the Fairmont Pacific Rim Vancouver.

After arriving late from the rocky mountaineer, our room had a huge blow dryer to dry out the wet carpet in our bedroom. We had been told they knew of this issue since 4:00pm, but gave us the room anyway. There was a welcome amenity to the Gomez family, who had probably changed rooms because of the issue. Too tired to change at night, we requested a new room in the morning. The new room HAD THE SAME ISSUE, in the sitting room which even maintenance couldn’t believe we were given the room. No room reduction was offered due to our inconveniences. We are Accor Gold, and thought we should bring this to your attention.

Room was nice, but the air condition blows directly onto the guest sleeping in the bed left my prescription glasses in the room, called the next day but they were nowhere to be found.
