Excellent, friendly well informed staff who always remember my name, my preferences and often offer to do things for me before I've even asked! The hotel is spotless. The staff very kindly reminds people if they have forgotten to put on their mask ( I did that once when I was about to leave the pool area) and offer to give a complimentary mask. The ski valets tell us if there are any unusual conditions on the mountain and have our boots, skis and poles ready very quickly. Our shoes are usually in the change area before we're even half way down the hallway from the outside entrance to the bench. The Wildflower restaurant special dinners, the Snow Globe and the Valentine's meals, were innovative, tasty and memorable- all served impeccable. The morning breakfasts at the Wildflower are a great way to start the day. Portobello is a quick place to grab a bite and the service is very friendly and fast. Housekeeping, valet parking, and the pool/gym staff are all top notch. Staying at the Chateau is a wonderful , fun and rejuvenating experience. As my husband quipped " it's the Whistler version of Downton Abbey!"

All was very good. Except. when we arrived on Friday we noticed a beer can and a kitkat wrapper on the floor by the elevators on our floor. The items where not removed by Sunday. I had to inform the front desk before the empty beer can and the kitkat wrapper moved.

The staff is extremely friendly and professional, we really appreciated the shuttle/driver service to the town which was always available when we needed it. We enjoyed breakfast at Wildflowe rand one lunch at Portobello which was hearty , but very good. the only less enjoyable part was the pool area. Even with reservation to access, we were often left with no room in the hottubs to relax our leg muscles after skiing. I also don't like the fact that they serve drinks inside the different pools to both adults and children ( in glass containers). The hotel is beautiful and set right at the gondola, so very enjoyable for a ski trip.

We really enjoyed the hot tubs/pool and had a fantastic dinner at the Chalet. We stayed 4 nights and felt that we should have been offered fresh towels, our garbage taken out, toilet paper and coffee pods but we had to call down each time we needed something and felt like a nuisance. I understand the Covid safety restrictions but perhaps a way to put a list outside and identify each day what is required. 4 nights is a long time with no service.

Upon investigation in to your concerns during your recent stay, it is with regret that we experienced a clerical error when inputting your request which resulted in not providing housekeeping services during your stay. Evidently during this time, we understand the extreme caution surrounding intruding in guest/others space without express permission, however do abide by our required servicing of the room every third day, unless stated otherwise. On behalf of the hotel, we apologize that this error had caused a dissatisfactory experience, and we wish to assure you that for future stays this would not be the case. As we would not wish you to be left with a poor impression of your time with us, it would be our pleasure to speak with you further regarding the aforementioned concerns. Our Executive Housekeeper has left you a voicemail with the corresponding number to contact directly.
