Provenance takes prominence within Kaspar's at The Savoy with menus that showcase contemporary seasonal dishes from land and sea that capture the vibrancy of the natural landscape. Champagne and seafood are served at a striking centrepiece bar.
Having undergone restoration in 2017 to bring this Grade II listed building back to its former glory, Simpson's in the Strand now features a reimagined Bill of Fare that brings the classic British cuisine, for which it has become so well-loved.
Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay is without doubt one of London's most legendary restaurants with a plethora of menus to choose from, reviving recipes from the original Chef's days in the kitchen back in 1889.

Staff were exceptionally accommodating - providing very personal, good care
Food at the restaurant was excellent both in the evening and for breakfast.
Staff at the cocktail bar welcoming and helpful.
Just one hiccup regarding the use of the pool in the morning which I had booked to use for the hour (due to Covid restrictions); however this time was given over to another client staying at the hotel, possibly as a consequence of me not turning up promptly on the hour. However had I been informed of this situation when making the booking I would have been aware that the booking might be given to another resident and been at the pool side on the hour. This was disappointing as I had enquired twice to make sure that there would be no problems. Although the member of staff was extremely apologetic it lessened the experience of what would have been a fabulous over night stay. The Head Butler was also extremely apologetic - it was a mistake that I had not been for warned or alerted as to what might happen if I did not sign in to swim within 10 minutes/ 20 minutes.....
Lovely to hear live music, the piano - please keep this all the time. I would not return without this!

You raise a very good point about advising our guests to arrive on time, or within a given time, before the time slot is given away and this has been carefully noted.

It was a surprise for my wife, the staff were wonderful. The Roses in the room were lovely. We were upgraded which meant the world to my wife. The American bar was closed so that stopped us having the complete Savoy experience.

My husband, two boys and I stayed at The Savoy for the weekend and had an amazing time. The staff were incredible and nothing was too much trouble for them. They all made us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were lovely, beds so comfortable too. We ate at Savoy Grill for breakfast and Sunday lunch, both meals were delicious and staff very attentive & friendly. Special thanks to Rob the doorman, so friendly and helpful. Also to Aisha on reception (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) who helped arrange something special for my boys in the room for when we arrived and Jose (concierge & guest executive) for finding my little one's drawing he'd dropped near reception on the way up to bed and posted it under our door with a little note for him, he was thrilled to have it back! Christmas decorations throughout the hotel were beautiful but I didn't expect anything less! We are still buzzing about our trip now and we cannot wait to return one day to do it all again. Thank you Savoy, what a lovely treat in these uncertain times we've been having - thank you - The E. family x

My wife and I often stay over in London,this was our second time staying at the savoy,we came back because were really impressed with the service the first time.Unfortunately our second stay was not as nice,the service didn’t match our first stay.
I was busy so my wife organised the reservation and she booked a slightly less expensive room than our previous stay and I feel that’s why the service was not as good,which if that is the case is a shame.

We really enjoyed our stay. The QR code card for room service was not in our room, so there was a bit of confusion as there was no menu. It was soon sorted out and the staff were lovely. What a treat to have the pool to ourselves due to COVID restrictions.

I booked this as a treat for my partner and I, and it was wonderful. The only sad part was that due to covid we were not able to use the other areas of the hotel. It would have been wonderful to have sipped cocktails in the famous cocktail bar.......

It was truly lovely. For some reason they thought we were celebrating a birthday (we weren’t) so we had a random birthday cake in the room - but that was lovely if it had been a birthday!

Overnight Stay with Afternoon Tea

As already reported to Emily. Everything perfect except the banging and crashing from the building work going on next door. My Daughter has Cronic Fatigue Syndrome and usually has a couple hours sleep in the afternoon. We arrived lunch time after a drive from Somerset so left her to have her sleep while we had lunch in the bar. She wanted to be fresh for the afternoon tea and evening. We returned to the room just after 4pm and she had not slept at all from the noise. This started again the next morning at 7 a.m. This did not bother us as we are often awake at that hour anyway. But could imagine many guests wanting to sleep longer in the morning after a late night. Perhaps you should avoid booking the rooms on that side of the hotel if there are others that can be used first in quieter areas. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look forward to coming back one day. But not next year as we already have many commitments.
