This was a lovely hotel which we stayed in for 3 nights. Excellent location in the centre with plenty of food options. Beds were extremely comfortable and spacious. The people at reception were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded us free of charge to a premium room. Overall this was a great stay at a lovely hotel, which is slightly on the expensive side but would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great location, in the very center of Amsterdam. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and tidy. My recommendation to the hotel is to improve the breakfast offer with more variety of foods. Otherwise, every recommendation for choosing this hotel for a stay in Amsterdam.

My five day stay at this hotel was fine apart from the appalling breakfast. A poorly displayed selection of crummy food. One packeted watery jam choice and bacon I wouldn't give to my dog. In years of travel this would be the worst hotel breakfast I have experienced.

Well located hotel but would not recommend

Swissotel has been my go to every time we are in Amsterdam. This trip, service was terrible front desk manager was aloof and unaccommodating, bathrooms are small and outdated, towels are old and thin and smell like old pizza, mattresses too soft and housekeeping did not have extra pillows to give us. Even if I am a diamond status all Accor member, they treated me like a nobody. I will never stay here ever again. There are so many other options now and given the price of the hotel, we prefer to be in a nicer hotel, more quiet and with better service.
