The location near Jing'An temple is perfect. The service here was excellent. The room was very clean and well equipped. I felt that the hotel took precautions for Covid-19 sanitation. However, the bed was a little too firm for a good night's sleep; I slept on top of the comforter for a little extra cushion. The breakfast was very Chinese, with a large selection of dumplings, noodles, congees, fermented foods, etc., and only pastries, fruit and an omelet station for Western tastes.

overall great, but one employee who helped with the printing service at the second-floor business center was not very familiar with her work and did not inform the fee related to the service before I used it. She forgot the password of that printing computer and even asked me whether I know how to turn on the computer... I hope next time when I see her in the business center, she can be more professional than the last time.

Friendly service - but room was a disappointment (Room 2306). Drawer in the closet cannot be opened, cause the closet door cannot be opened. The closet is extremely narrow. No drawers to store things in the room. Only under the bed. I have been to the Swissotel Grand Shanghai many times. But this must be the smallest room of the hotel. A huge dissappointment. On the other side, staff was very friendly. As usual.

I have to accept that some held dear services were cancelled due to Corona. What I do not understand is the selection of TV-programs available in English. It is embarrassing that we were treated with four(!) Russian and one Cuban TV channel, but NO US or European News channel.

it was good overall. only one case i did not happy. when I put the "do not disturb" on the door, the clean staff did, but the phone called to my room, which disturbed my sleep every time.

Top CBD location with easy access to multiple malls and sights, friendly and helpful staff attending to your every need, the hotel is a winner and a bargain. I would especially like to thank Executive Lounge manager Shirley, who took good care of my stay as always, and hotel GM Vance, who led the hotel through such difficult times. This hotel has been my first choice Accor property in Shanghai, and I recommend it highly to all my friends and colleagues.

The stay exceeded my expectations. The staff were all very friendly. Especially the lobby bar girls took very good care of us and the club benefits are very generous at the lobby. The life guards the pool recognized me at the second day and greeted me enthusiastically what made me feel special. The check in was friendly and efficient.

Room upgrate proactively offered at check in, which is nice and appreciated. Room was clean and well equipped. Most staff well trained, professional (also in terms of hygiene) and friendly. One exeption was a staff at the lobby bar during afternoon tea&happy hour, there was room for improvement regarding the service attitude. Would also appreciate if member status is managed the priority lane at check in more proactively. Overall very satisfied, which is why we are staying at this property repeatedly. Would be great if the lounge could re-open soon.

Have stayed in Swissotel 4 times far all during the pandemic period.....,,.General speaking the hotel is well managed, efficient and friendly services have been provided by the staff of the front desk and lobby bar ( executive lounge service). My appreciation for the nice suit upgrading which obviously made my stay in the hotel more comfortable and impressive. Thanks!

Good feeling as provided by good services and nice performance from receptionists as well as other staffs. However, I have a little bit disappointed on the close up of VIP lounge although I understand this is a special arrangement under the outbreak of COVID 19, I still hope that I can enjoy the lounge service next time when I come back again. Swissotel offers good rates in a perfect location. The premises could do with some renovation. The fact that there was only one working plug and none available at all near the bed made it a bid annoying. Where do people charge their phone? This is a business hotel...

since 2 years i have over 30 stay in this hotel, I try to connect the hotel manager to fix the parking fee collection issues. those fee can't be pay in advance in mobile phone and also can't cover by pay in advance in lobby . in the beginning everyday, I have to pay it in cash. now it become e pay by exit, but it was a heavy raining week. I have to open my window and get my suit wet. I think it is a customer service point for the hotel.
