Swissotel offers good rates in a perfect location. The premises could do with some renovation. The fact that there was only one working plug and none available at all near the bed made it a bid annoying. Where do people charge their phone? This is a business hotel...

since 2 years i have over 30 stay in this hotel, I try to connect the hotel manager to fix the parking fee collection issues. those fee can't be pay in advance in mobile phone and also can't cover by pay in advance in lobby . in the beginning everyday, I have to pay it in cash. now it become e pay by exit, but it was a heavy raining week. I have to open my window and get my suit wet. I think it is a customer service point for the hotel.

I had quite a nice stay. I think what may it so great was after getting to the hotel after a tiring flight, the staff greeted me with a warm welcome and sped through my check-in. The lady that checked me in was so courteous, very professional. The room was comfortable and the breakfast got me off to start of my day.

Great location with metro just 1 min away. Room is cozy and have a great view to Southern Nanjing Road which is a very posh neighborhood. The design in bathroom can be improved as I found it with very limited space for placing cosmetics and skincare if ladies are traveling together. Breakfast at cafe is disappointing tho.

The new booking app for ALL is just awful ! Should never have been launched until it was ready . Most of the time you can’t get it to work , can only book 1 room at a time , no longer shows you which room type you booked on future bookings -nightmare ! At Swissotel Jing’an 2 items were left in hotel room by mistake and housekeeping did not hand them into lost property ...

Perfect stay started with a warm welcome in the lobby by name from the concierge and continued with a great upgrade from executive floor team. A few days before arrival, was already welcome by an individual mail message asking for arrival time and special requests. Wonderful.

Nice hotel close to my office and a range of bars and restaurants

Check-in is too slow. Scanning the passport is necessary but needs to be done quicker. The attendant also took a while looking for a visa in my passport when I do not need one (I have an APEC Card). In general, just quicker check-in. The rooms are generally very quiet - well sound proofed - which is something I value when trying to sleep. The range of English channels needs to improve - much better down the road at Portman or Shangri-La.
