Was there for a staycation for my boy's birthday. The experience wasn't fantastic, The worst is reception didn't remind us that there's no complimentary car park. Paid > $50 for the stay.

« Excellent rooms, great service, fantastic location »

Minor room issues (airco, bathroom malfunctions) were dealt with immediately upon notification. Management paid attention to (what I believe to be) fair requests for support. The location is unbeatable in Singapore. The upgraded room outfits are very practical (eg the option to use mood lighting vs work lighting etc).

« Great stay with fantastic service »

The welcome by staff was impeccable who made sure that I settled in well in the room with a follow up call. The room was beautiful with a stunning view. The only point I wanted to raise is a safety issue at the toilet entrance which have caused both my guest and I to slip several times. It is slippery and a slight slope hence making it very dangerous if one wears slippers. Please look into this safety concern. However do compliment ur frontline staff who provided impeccable service.

The service staff was polite, the restaurant food was good. We went to SKAI Restaurant, it was good. However, the inner part of the quilt was really dirty. It’s very unhygienic. We could spot yellowish region (could be mould and red patches) on the quilt even though the quilt cover is on.

Call Centre for bookings and in room requests feels like they want to end the call ASAP. Checking in was a self service check in despite having a staff at hand to assist, there is lack of personal touch. I was given a disability access room and was not notified about it until I went up to the room. If there are no available rooms, we would understand but would appreciate it if we were informed this at check in. We are happy to delay the check in and wait for a normal room. Room was dusty and not well maintained. The ground staff was good, when we mentioned that the room air con was not working, they immediately offered us a new room. Great service on that!

« All in all a good and solid stay »

We had a very pleasant stay at the Swissotel. Only 8 out of ten because they did no turndown service in one of our rooms - we had to call every evening for that. Also the food at their lounge was rather bad - the sushi was great, but the rest was definitely not. Other than that, the stay was great - great service, friendly staff, nice rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Swissotel and swam in the pool every day. The choice of food outlets was excellent although we were not aware that the cost of food and drinks was so high compared to Australia.

Nice, central hotel, with all facilities. Nice breakfast. Lived at 46.th floor. 25 seconds with the elevator. Not too many sitting facilities in the Lobby. Friendly staff

« Good Location but lacking many of the softer service touches »

No doubt the location is a strong point. The views from Room 1757 were good and the room was of good size. The desk is not appropriate for business use. The sofa (if that’s what it is) was also odd and didn’t serve a comfortable purpose. The bathroom was fine, lighting, TV, WiFi, security, accessibility all fine. Breakfast first 2 days was relocated into a ballroom and felt odd and disorganized on both occasions. The next 5 nights in the breakfast lounge, the size of the venue is not proportionate to the volume of guests being accommodated, especially in peak time. It felt impersonal and transactional. The hotel lobby was fine, though again the choice of some of the furniture is questionable - more about style than usability. The doormen were all good. The swimming pool was very busy the one time I went. The checkin process was not to my liking. It’s very transactional and lacked the personal touch. I have to say I prefer Swissotel Merchant Court on all of the above points. I’ve stayed there 4 times and never did I feel like was just a transactional customer.

Room size good . Dining and food drink too expensive. Tried the buffet was told a certain price but charged a lot more because they said was Chinese New Years price when it was over? Was also charged for my child when he didn’t eat anything

I need to visit Singapore on business normally once or two times a year. Swissotel is my preferred hotel since 2010. I found it is consistent in its service throughout these years. A number of improvements have been observed including the self check in system, improve in the restaurants, refurbishment of the rooms. However, I found that the membership program is not really provided added benefits and sometimes, it does not gave me a feeling of privileged customers.

« Extraordinary »

We were heartily welcomed by the staff. Our room 2258 was as wished, was very clean. All the meals taken at your different restaurants very tasty and friendly service. We shall come again on our return from NZ on the 28th of April for 2 nights and would be thrilled if we have a room even higher up than the 22nd floor but on the same side as 2258.
