Very bad hotel management and many staff must be fired. Many improvements required. In my opinion, right now Fairmont is one star hotel not 5.

Decent hotel if you want to play golf in Abu Dhabi

well located hotel, however, the rooms are a little dated. also, due to the high humidity, the room floor was perpetually wet.

I wish ever hotel had a person like Sherazi managing things! I have never heard a no from him in the month I was staying at the Fairmont! Goes out of his way to keep guests happy!

We did enjoy our stay a lot, the employees are all extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was that my husband was only vaccinated once and we were not aware that he was not even allowed at the pool, which we both found extremely strict. I was there for work, but as soon as that was done, we decided to head to Dubai because of that, otherwise we would have enjoyed a longer stay at the Fairmont Bab al Bahr. But I believe this is a government law and not a hotel policy. Still, we only got to know this policy while checking in.

First, when we arrived nobody bothers to come to our car to help us with our luggage. So we call them to help us. Secondly, one of the rooms the gave us is an interconnecting room and we were not aware about that. My son accidentally opened the door and somebody is on the other side of the room, that room number is 155. They should tell us that that room is interconnecting and we should not open the door, at least inform us so we'll be aware. I informed the reception I forgot her name but she told me it's okay and she didn't addressed my concern well instead she gave me her calling card and told me if I want to book again just to call her. I feel that it's an inappropriate response for a guest's concern. Another thing, when we're about to have our breakfast we approach the receptionist but at that time she was on the phone. She said something but I didn't clearly heard what she said so I thought she was asking our room number. So I told her our room number and she rolled her eyes. It was an awful experience. I'm exploring all the hotels here in Abu Dhabi to experience the best hotel and definitely this hotelnis far from that. I will never recommend this hotel to my friends and colleague. I am sorry.

Amazing Stay

We stayed for 2 nights in a beautiful suite. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed dinner in both the Marco Piere restaurants and they were both excellent. We drank cocktails in Bridges Bar. The service was great and a special shout out to Aswin that made sure we always had a drink. The pool is fantastic with great cocktails. Breakfast is delicious with a big selection. We also had afternoon tea which was lovely. I was so pleased with our stay. We cannot wait to return :)

Unresolved problem

The room is large and comfortable but we had some unresolved issues then, The sinks in the bathroom were overflowing, the loudspeaker didn't work, the TV wasn't on. Broadcast system, the bathroom does not have privacy, as the bathroom door is in the face of the bed and this is annoying for the sleeper. No bathrobe, no hot water in the bathroom.

This was our first time experiencing Fairmont Hotels and honestly, our entire stay was nothing but the best. Loved the location, rooms are extremely clean and tight and personal are nothing but the most polite people in Abu Dhabi. I received the survey quite late and forgot some names I would really wanted to mention. Young lady from FO, unfortunately forgot her name (from Azerbaijan). She was truly helpful and took every single request very seriously and as they say “it’s all about getting it done” … we complained about the noice of construction happening at the beach and next day the noise is gone so we could relax at the pool, even slept there for couple of hours. Well, in few words: Thank you Fairmont and you should really appreciate your personal as they truly are the best in Abu Dhabi.

The Fairmont is our go to hotel for a staycation in Abu Dhabi and has been for a number of years now. The staff cannot do enough for you , always greet you with a smile and their attention to detail is remarkable. The rooms are clean, modern and include all amenities and the view of the grand mosque is breathtaking! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as they have something to suit all.

Your welcome email stated welcome drinks and we did not get it. We were given a room where we can hear construction work at 3 am in the morning. Sorry guys we came to relax. Drink vouchers only allowed us soda, nothing else. On a good note your Brunch was amazing, selection, quality and taste, all were a wow. Lunch was not provided for our 5 years old, we were told it’s not included, only knew this when we were in the hotel. View from room was spectacular.
