Cockroaches in room, Toilet dripping. Was not made aware of halaal friendly restaurant on site upon inquiry. Lack of customer service after voicing my complaints. Monkeys out of control at kids area. Staff not aware of resort offerings.

It was well worth our monie. Will definitely recommend our stay with Zimbali Resort our friends and family. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was excellent. The whole atmosphere at Zimbali Resort is breath taking. Love this place.

We had an incredible stay. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt with amazing service. The room was beautiful and the view was out of this world. The food was absolutely amazing. I wish we could of stayed longer.

« Loved the place but not the service. »

The Hotel is beautiful. I would visit again if the service is improved. We came to the hotel at 1pm and we were told the rooms are not ready and we must wait. The guy who was helping us (I think his name is William) told us to wait in the Hotel facility and that he will call us when the room is ready for check-in. We then went to the restaurant by the pool. We waited for 3 hours without a call. It was raining and cold. We then decided to go back to the reception at 4pm, as we were cold and uncomfortable. We were told the guy who assisted us left at 2pm and didn't inform anyone to call us. we were made to wait for 3 hours outside and we were just given a "sorry", the guy should have called us before he left. we checked in and had to stay in bed as we had been cold. Then we ordered room service, where the bill came with different prices from the menu. We were then told the menu in our room was old hence the price difference. The food also came cold. I ordered curry, which didnt even come with Salsa. I complained again, the restaurant manager came to our room to verify what we were talking about, then adjusted the prices but unfortunately we had to wait for food again, as he had to prepare us warm food. by the time the food came it was over an hour and 30min. the following day, we did the Spa, and the experience was amazing. I give the spa a 5star.

Everything about Fairmont was amazing.We were the 5 star guests,we enjoyed every moment at Fairmont Zimbali Resort. A very luxurious place to be, their service is the best. Planning another vacation to this place because wow I can’t get enough of the luxury moments there.

« The perfect getaway. »

It was very relaxing to stay in the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the luxuries one could expect. However, I found the restaurant prices extremely expensive.

Overall a very good experience, just disappointed to not have slippers in the room. When I did request the slippers, the unbranded lower quality pair was delivered which was not ideal

« Relaxing, lovely and a breathe of fresh air »

From the moment we got there, the service was great, room was beautifully furnished and the staff was very friendly. The food from the restaurant inside the hotels and around the pool was delicious and fresh, also great services with multiple of fun things to do for everyone. It's a great place for a getaway from the city. I loved it. To top it off the complimentary gift for my mother's birthday was the cherry on top, made everything extra special and meaningful.

Hotel facilities were good however the staff was not genuinely friendly. When I asked for extension of checking out time by 30min, i was told that this is not allowed. The spa did not do a good job on the nails of my partner, one of her nails polish worn put the same day it was done, she was promised for reimbursement but still today no one called her back.

The experience was great. Our requests were attended to promptly. The pool was super clean, the massage was on point, all staff members were friendly. One thing I need clarity on is, if we want to leave a tip how do we go about. Amazing property - loved the pool and the friendly staff! Didn’t really like breakfast which had a buffet style deal with some rather tired looking frittata which was so dry we couldn’t really eat it. Other than that super comfortable space with gorgeous views... oh, and the best cocktails at the pool.

« An amazing stay »

The resort is beautiful , my room was amazing sea facing and the people are very nice. The facilities are beautiful and the experience was awesome. I would definitely bring my daughter with next time. The only opportunity area is your breakfast kitchen , it was packed no space too small with a large dinning area. The service is very slow furthermore the breakfast menu is not for a five start hotel not all. On the second day I did not have breakfast I could not bring my self to that long queue and breakfast full of carbohydrates.
