The whole experience was breath taking, because the hotel is magnificent. Every corner is a photo studio! The bellman and receptionists were nice and helpful. However, the bar tender/ bar manager at Absinthe was rather rude. I came there at 10:30 and already be told that I shoule leave early because they are closing and they do not want to take any order that is complicated and take too long to make. The next day I came in for some tea, yet the same man talked to a Vietnamese guest in a rude and disrespectful manner, just because the guest did not understand a English name of a tea set. This man really ruined any good experience the guest could have here.

The overall experience was wonderful. I would have given it a 10 across board except for this one thing. When I made reservations , I alerted everyone that my husband is very allergic to down feathers and to please give us a feather free room. When we got to room, we only have 2 sheets on our bed with no comforters or blankets. I called front desk and they sent up housekeeping with two more sheets. After several attempts, we were told by house keeping that they do not have non feather comforters or blankets. I was very surprised to hear this as my husband and I have lived in 8 countries, stayed in many 5 star hotels similar to Hotel De La Coupole - MGallery. This is the first time a hotel of this caliber told us they have no other non feather comforters . The other hotels would supply us with polyester or cotton comforters. At the least cotton blankets. So what are we to do? Their answer to us was : Turn up the room temperature. It’s not about temperature. I like to sleep with something heavy on me every night. In the end, we had to cover ourselves with two large bath towels together with the bath robe provided in the room. Now imagine us having to pay for 5 star quality to have to cover ourselves in bath towels and bath robes? Other than that, everyone was just super nice and courteous. The hotel is beautiful.

Everything worked splendidly! From the initial phone call to make the reservation (as the "Sapa Escape" package wasn't showing on the booking homepage) Check-in was smooth & friendly - great hot chocolate! The room is wonderful - very comfy bed & smooth bathrobes Chic: the restaurant has a great variety, both Western and Asian Staff: Everyone was genuinely friendly & very talkative. Lien and her team at chic are doing a wonderful job - big shout out to them! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

I really love the MGallery brand and choose it over all other brands when traveling. I also really enjoy Bill Bengsley designs and have been to all of those in VN. As usual, I loved the attention to detail and story-telling found in every corner of the hotel. Facilities were amazing, especially in terms of room design, large indoor swimming pool, and a spa where I had a wonderful treatment. Food was also pretty tasty, albeit very small portions for a 3-course western menu, especially for a French brand. However I can’t rate the stay as perfect as I noticed a few things not befitting a 5-star hotel. 1) Cheap powdered instant coffee in the rooms (even the suites). This coffee is not even coffee and I’m pretty shocked it’s in brand like Sofitel where rooms are minimum of 200 USD/night. I can get that coffee for less than 50 cents in the shop - don’t need it in my suite. 2) Small plastic bottled water in the rooms - really unacceptable these days. Should have a refillable glass or plastic jug to minimize waste. Covering it in a Hmong design does not hide the fact that it’s creating waste in a country with excessive plastic waste issues. 3) Bathroom amenities are locked into the shower and you can’t remove them to take a bath? Is MGallery that worried their guests will steal products that they don’t let them move a shampoo and body gel from shower to bathtub and vice versa? 4) Misleading advertising - my package included an afternoon tea set which I was very much looking forward to after I saw the photos on Accor’s homepage as well MGallery Sapa’s Instagram. Imagine my surprise when I didn’t get what is pictured on website and no one failed to mention during any point of booking process that I was getting the “not as good and no choice” afternoon tea, full of old stale cakes and served 30 mins after receiving a cup of coffee and tea pot. Safe to say - drinks were cold - afternoon tea is not just with cakes in any country, including other Mgalleries in VN. If you’re advertising something on your website then I’d surely hope to receive it in person, and not to have an excuse that for whatever reason my package included a fake afternoon tea not shown on the website. If I knew this I would rather pay extra to get a good service than have something included in my rate which is mediocre. 5) In general, poor quality pastries and bread, as well as coffees not prepared properly (too much milk etc). Not suitable for a French 5 star brand at all. For example, bread was often served old and just reheated. This being said, I did feel management tried their best to rectify the mistakes while I was there. However since I was leaving the next day, I couldn’t experience a proper afternoon tea or degustation menu. Still, the hotel is gorgeous and I hope these kinks can be ironed out so hotel de la couple can truly compare with other great Mgalleries in VN like Hotel Des Artes and Legacy Yen Tu.

perfect location but i dont think the reception nice enough for a 5 stars hotel like this. When i checked in there were 2 ladies helped me with the process, one of them was very nice, helping me buying the tickets with a grateful attitude (i liked her). In the other hand, the lady who actually checking in for me was the one i did not satisfied with. Lack of informations providing for guest, no smiling, no welcome feeling. Also the gentlement who stand in the hotel entrance, his behaviour seemed like he was not really welcome us. To be honest, comparing with other 5 stars hotel in the area, hospitality services in Mgallery was actually worse. Anyway, rooms and hotel design were amazing.

Decent hotel with great location to explore Downtown Sapa, the staff was very nice (but bộ phận F.O rất thiếu chuyên nghiệp). It was overall, I can say "Loved our stay". Very cool to “explore the hotel” which is something I haven’t enjoyed since I was a kid. With one-of-a-kind artwork hanging all over the hotel, I had to explore. Thanks!

The hotel is very nice, position is perfect and the view on the mountains is breathtaking from the rooftop bar. The swimming pool is very nice too and so is the spa. Rooms are comfortable and food is great. The only issue we had was at the check-in and check-out. The cashier didn't seem very familiar with credit cards and after two months I was charged a second time for the deposit that was already charged while paying the final bill. In the email I was sent, someone from the hotel said that the deposit was not charged, but my credit card statement shows clearly that the deposit was charged and never refunded.

The facility is great overall...everything you'd expect from what is Sapa's only 5-star international hotel. Manage your personal expectations about the service though...Sapa is a remote rural village in a developing country. The local staff struggled with English much more than I am accustomed to at urban Accor properties.

Everything was perfect as we got free room upgrade and my sister even got a small birthday cake. The only issue was the pool water were extremely cold and not so clean as I think because there were mot many people at the hotel during covid so hotel did not pay good attention to the pool. Also a pool staff brought an external friend in and were taking pics whilst the guest were using the pool - bit unprofessional...

Dear all, Firstly thank you so much for your support during my family’ trip. All staffs room, swimming pool are good however I would like to note one point about your hotel: Breakfast, I know your occupancy was not high and I also loved a la carts for breakfast to save food but you should change food each day, it was very poor based on 5* standard. In the menu, you mentioned “Bun Cha” but i could not order. If impossible, pls take out in the menu list. Again, thanks a lot for free upgrading to high category :) Thanks and regards H.

We had an amazing stay at your hotel, right from Check in to the departure. Ms Han checked us in and she was a delight , very helpful and polite . The rooms were very comfortable. Our dining experience was exceptional as well - well trained staff and professional service . The dood was nicely presented with generous portions and high quality. The cocktails at the bar were creative and unique, I forgot the name of the bartender but he was so good that he made me my special Negeroni as well. Special mention to Me Thong Nguyen at the front desk - who went above and beyond to help us rebook our flight tickets and also had looked into alternate options for us Incase our plan didn’t workout. He was simply amazing . Big Thank you ! For a memorable stay . We will definitely be back. Regards . Sudhir D.

The Luxury hotel locates at the center of Sa Pa, nearby local good restaurants - just by walk. There has a train station to Cable station at the hotel. Breakfast is nice with both Local and Western foods. From Superior room we can see the whole town view. Clean room and friendly staff.
