Very friendly and fast respond staff. Thank you for that. The room clean is great also and very comfortable. Easy access to mall, understand its covid situation but input from myself is the buffet just use plastic hand gloves no need to wait the staff to get the food for you. It longer our time. Unless u have dedicated staff for each table

Room was spacious, service excellent, I cannot find fault in anything except the FOOD QUALITY & TASTE! I’m sorry to say but the worse food I’ve ever tasted in a 5* hotel is that of Raffles’ Jakarta’s In-room Dining. It’s bland, tasteless and just plain horrible. I’ve ordered breakfasts, local & international cuisine, and all of them lacking in flavor & good taste. The chicken was tough, like it was cooked out of the freezer. Even how the bacon was fried - as simple as bacon - it was burnt! How can they even serve it to a guest is beyond my understanding. Worse food ever in all my years of staying in a 5* hotel.

Although having an view issue and room availability, I've finally got the exact room i was booked for. It was an epic room, with a great city view, interior design so modern and luxurious, spacious as well. Me and family got a breakfasting complimentary as exchanged for welcome refreshments and it's was very good. And finally the services for receptionist and butler were beyond expectations and the facilities were great as well. I'm very happy with Raffles Hotel and can't wait to stay there as soon as possible

Wonderful Quarantine Stay

I stayed at Raffles Jakarta during mandatory 5 days quarantine upon returning from abroad. The overall experience was seamless, I got someone to escort me once past immigration all the way to the pre-booked taxi to the hotel. During quarantine I was not allowed to go outside of the room, however since I stayed in Artist Suite, I did not feel claustrophobic. The room was very well appointed, spacious, and very luxurious even by 5-star standard. I chose the deluxe quarantine package but opted to upgrade the room for very special price. Big thanks to Mr. Mexy from reservation team who helped me with this. The one downside during my stay was the food. Not sure if it was caused due to order made through room service, but I found the taste to be underwhelming, especially the Nasi Goreng which was my favorite food. I tried all kinds of Nasi Goreng available in the hotel and not one suited my taste. The pasta and western food are more palatable though. Another underwhelming aspect was the wifi. Looks like free wifi was only 5 mbps and it was hard to even do a proper video call. In hindsight, looks like this became the norm in Jakarta's hotel, with higher than 5 mbps was dedicated to premium internet. All in all it was a wonderful stay during quarantine and I don't think it could get any better (except for the food and wifi). In addition, it also gave a good value for money as well compared to other 5-star hotel in Jakarta

My overall stay was great, especially with the services provided by the hotel. However, to be honest I was a little bit disappointed with the experience during breakfast (lack of staff and insufficient of food variety). Other than that, everything was great.

- Very nice service from end to end (welcoming guest, butler, in-room service) - In-room facilities was in great condition - Swimming pool and fitness center were just okay in my opinion compared to other 5 star hotels in Jakarta - Breakfast choices of food quite varies for Indonesian cuisine, but was expecting more other cuisines for Raffles level. Taste could be better too for the carbs based food

To briefly describe my personal experience with your hotel, I was not impressed with your In room dining, it wasnt presented properly. We ordered in room dining at least 2 times a day. And some of the food that came didnt have the same toppings that was written on the menu, no confirmation from your staff whatsoever. And the inconsistency of providing the condiments is really alarming, sometimes it was provided sometimes it wasnt. Example, we ordered breakfast where theres 3 types of eggs dishes but salt and paper were not provided. Second example, we ordered fish and chips but ketchup and chilly sauce were also not provided. Another thing, I dont appriciate the fact that one of your staff enter my room after two rings of our bell door in the middle of a pandemic just so that he could deliver a complimentary dessert. In my knowledge there is a proper way to enter occupied room, three bells then you could call the occupants so that they could finally open the door for you.It was so unessasary, even the other attendant do exactly what I just mention above, so its proving my point that this particular staff doesnt follow your own hotel standards. Please be more respectful.
