Quarantine stay

Booked this hotel as a 4-stars hotel for a quarantine package. Although the quarantine was bareable, the accommodations were quite below my expectations. Bathroom small and uncomfortable, no hand towels or body lotion were supplied. Soap and shampoo of the lowest quality. Closet space very limited and not efficiently designed (who designs a room where the drawers in the night cabinets do not open!?). The room includes a small coffee table and a big armchair, but forget it if you need to work on a desk with a comfortable chair. Last but not least, the food was "hospital like" rather than a respected "hotel like". The quantity was sufficient, but the quality was not much better than standard "rice boxes", typical in Indonesian events. Fruits were of low quality (e.g., hard green unripe mellon) and the pudding served with almost each meal was quite disgusting. TV channels included several Emglish and movie channels, but far below what is expected in a high-star hotels. Internet connection was quite satisfactory. The hotel staff buys (at guest expense) items from a nearby minimarket.

Since I just stay in the room for the whole days,I cannot describe more than inside experience in your hotel. Staffs are very responsive to any enquiries and reques. Food quality and variation are satisfied. Amenities (soap,shampo,tissue,)were not sufficiently available,may be because we stay for quarantine,the staff were not so willing to provide without request. No single day of room cleaning have been done during our 8 days stay in the hotel.

THE FOOD WAS EXTREMELY BAD QUALITY BAD TASTE AND ROTTEN, WAS REQUESTED TO UPDATE CHANGES THE MENU FOR BREAKFAST TO ONLY FRUITS BUT NOT WELL RESPONS. MORNING UNTIL DINNER MENU WAS RICE ALL THE TIME. BAD HYGIENE ROOM SMELLS MUSTY. IS THIS THE CORRECT SERVICE YOUR HOTEL PROVIDE??? . LACK OF THE INFORMATIONS WHE IN THE FRONT DESK.

A decent place for self quarantine.

The room is good with all facilities working without a hassle. Hence, some improvements may be needed when it comes to services, particularly regarding meals delivery. I would be totally fine for the delivery to be delayed as long as there was a notification for the guest in which I did not receive prior to the delay for my dinner and lunch a couple of times. This might be just a small detail, but it really helps for us who has a remote working with certain fixed schedules.

Everything in the room including internet was very good, good food and good staff. Unfortunately the exhaust in bathroom was not working properly, therefore the steam from hot water in shower stop circulating that caused uncomfortable to breath when showering. And there was some electrical outlet not working. Some people talking about the “noise” in the night, but for me it was interesting.

Entering Indonesia during the pandemic, we chose Mercure Jakarta Batavia Hotel as our quarantine hotel. What made us chose this hotel among other choices was that the room has parquet floor. We stayed in Junior suite room which has a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The food was delicious. It was served three times a day. The staff was polite and helpful. The only regret is that we couldn’t take advantage of its facilities like swimming pool, gym and restaurant. Hopefully we can stay here again when the pandemic is over.

Nice room very cozy and comfy

The only thing that i dont really feel comfortable is the bed. The bed doesn’t in the good shape anymore after 5 days i started to have back and neck pain, everynight before sleep i have to find a spot where the surface is flat which is near the edge of the bed. The middle part of the bad is slightly concave in. But so far i love the stay, love the service, all the staffs are very friendly and kind. Lovely stay ! Definitely will come back again and recommend it to my friends! I made a little short video of my stay for 8 days in Mercure. So many people and friends approached me and ask about it ! What a lovely experience!

5 nights just in the room, however it feels ok as it's spacious, comfortable bed and stable internet speed. relatively good and various foods for this full board, 3 meals arrangement.

My first impression, the room was spacious and clean including the bathroom. complete facilities but there is a smell a bit like rotten eggs from the bathroom drain, anyway overall the results are good at an affordable price

An old hotel that has been renovated very well, the old building has been turned into a modern hotel, the location is near the old Jakarta area with many museums and old style culinary, the rooms are comfortable and pleasant, feels like home

Nice Hotel for staycation

I love the design of this hotel, It was located actually near kota area where you can go to Fatahilah garden with just a walking distance. I was there for staycation so just enjoying the hotel all the time. The room pretty spacious my view is the garden, which pretty well care in my opinion. At first my AC was not as cold as expected but once the engineer come the temperature got better. Was having a nice experience there. Thank you.
