Overall very pleasant, the staff very helpful and nice. Quick improvements needed: add small spoons to breakfast coffee and desserts. Add napkins to tables and buffet. The air conditioning in the rooms could be better.

The front of house staff were lovely and it was a touching gesture to receive a birthday cake in my room on arrival. The bedroom was dated and not very clean, lots of dust also essentials such as toilet paper wasn’t replenished. I had one evening meal chosen from the A la carte menu, I received the wrong sauce on my steak, service was poor. This also extends to breakfast as staff seemed to prefer talking with each other rather then attending to guests. This was more apparent with whom I thought were management.

The stay itself was a pleasant experience. The staff in total was friendly and helpful. Some improvement good be done around the sauna. The service at the bar in the evening good be improved. The reception desk and the concierge reflected an overwhelming friendliness and were most helpful. However, we would specially say thank you to Raied, the hotel driver. We were totally lost in the city of Amman and only with the help of Raied we found our way around.

Suite room was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable. Bed and pillows excellent. Facilities excellent. So much attention from the efficient, obliging, professional staff. Office Manager Sharif was more than wonderful. Beverage worker Mohammad was helpful. Reception staffers Abdullah and Dana were very efficient and welcoming. A fabulous stay.

Stayed at Le Grand Amman prior to joining a hiking trip in Jordan. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was upgraded on arrival and was clean and comfortable. A few spots to walk to nearby for shops/restaurants. Meals at hotel restaurant were enjoyed. Would recommend as a place to stay while in Amman.

When you enter the hotel you wonder first whether the hotel is still under construction. There is no real lobby and what is there looks un-inviting. The bar is ok. The room was good in size, had everything you need and was well insulated against noise from outside. I also enjoyed the fitness area, spacious, different opportunities to exercise.

« A very tired looking hotel with staff working hard to please »

Disappointed with the hotel appearance and the closure of the executive lounge, the limited menu, the appearance of the floor in the restaurant (looked very dirty). Had we been informed about the closure of the executive lounge we would have made alternative arrangements for our stay, however the staff did try to make alternative arrangements but this was not quite the same.
