Was a lovely experience. So good for my body and soul. I relaxed body and mind. The food was healthy and delicious. Yoga in the morning was exactly what i needed. And my gym session with Christina was refreshing. Will definitly come back.

Staff were welcoming and always willing to help. The buffet food was very good quality and there was something for everyone. Facilities were excellent including the gym, steam room/ saunas/ Jacuzzi. Would return and recommend!

So much potential, but let down by service level

I booked for a weekend 'stay-cation' at the retreat, specifically wanting to rest and unwind from a busy work week. I chose to stay rather than just do a day spa experience as I thought this would mean better service and a more relaxing stay. This was not the case. The hotel and setting is beautiful and has all the right set up for excellence, but is let down by the customer experience. The worst part was being consistently asked for my room number and credit card for the smallest things - to sit for dinner, to get a towel, even to have water at dinner. I had a massage and paid a premium price for this, while walk in guests were able to book using Groupon offers which seems very unfair. In terms of delivering on the 'health retreat' promise - I was offered a the healthy drink on arrival, but found the a la cart menu and evening buffet to be very limited in terms of genuinely healthy and wholesome food options. Similarly the food stocked in the room was all packaged food and crisps, even with 'healthy' ingredients these are not healthy foods. Fruit and vegetables should be fresh and readily available. Also I do not understand why there the hotel is marketing to families and children, as children in a resort do not make for a relaxing and high end health retreat experience.

Nice stay in the Palm

A well placed hotel with very fair price while we are in the Palm. The hotel is very nice and clean. Facilities are nice we enjoyed a lot. The restaurants are just excellent including the traditional arabic one (fair price as well). I recommend to come with a Car to enjoy the valet service and avoid taxis. (tram is 4km away). Or you also can use the hotel shuttle. Thank you again to the hotel and its great team!

A super hotel, location good but a lot of waste ground in front of hotel which is not very welcoming, plus the construction of 3 high rise hotels next door which we knew nothing about made a not very quiet location. Food excellent, we prepaid for breakfast and added on 2 evening meals, all of which were fantastic, Our room was perfect with perfect view which we had requested and all the staff were so helpful from our arrival to our departure. thankyou

it was ok untill we had breakfast the next morning. i asked for coffee for 3x but nobody gave me coffee. the guests who came late had their orders of coffee but not me. i guess because we are asian. i felt really discriminated and felt bad. our room was hot, we asked some staff to check for our ac but still room was not cool. we were tired and dont want to complain for more so we just settle and tried to sleep. i would not recommend it to our asian friends and family.

We were planning to come together, I made a mistake on our non refundable booking...then I got ill and wasn't able to come...The staff were SO nice they accommodated the change due to my mistake...My husband said that was the biggest suite we have ever had in all the places we travel..and everything was superb... just be aware that the happy hours at this hotel do not include alcohol...and we didn't know that in advance...

Firstly the driver was 30 minutes late to pick me up from the airport at 250 AED a ride. My room was not made on day 1. When I walked in at 4:30 it was the same I left it at 7:30 am. In room dining for breakfast was ordered. No breakfast arrived the next morning and the request was placed outside on the door the previous night at 8 pm.

Overall experience was good but just one problem.. FOOD. We are Jain and we don't eat Onion and Potato etc and we require pure jain food.. will surely come next time but we need good chef's who make good jain and veg food. Thanks
