Beautiful rooftop pool! Perfect view of racetrack from king suite. Nice beautiful quiet gardens and seating areas outside. Amazing clean bathroom with plenty of space for 2 Fast room service!

Recently we have the opportunity to organise a wedding reception in The Barn of William Inglis Hotel . This is the first time that we undertaken this type of event in this location . Emily Turnbull (Wedding & Event Executive) was the point of contact and from the first meeting , we are highly impressed the level of commitment by Emily and her team. The facilities and location were surprisingly excellent! Generally the Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful , certainly they helped to the smooth of operation for the wedding Reception. Also thanks for Adam and his banquet team to provide such a professional and well organised service through out the evening . The Wedding Parties as well as guests have commented how good the event staff were !! On behalf of the Wedding Couple Phoebe & Kevin , and Colour 18 Wedding , we wish to express our sincere thanks to making this a memorable evening! And we certainly will be recommending this venue and Hotel to future clients . We look forward to doing more event in the Hotel venue .

My Girlfriend Nives held her 60th Birthday with you and we took the opportunity to stay over night. We had a fabulous room with a very comfy bed. The Team on reception were friendly & helpful . The team who looked after the catering were also friendly & helpful they did a great job smiling through their Masks

I recently booked three suites at the William Inglis Hotel for myself and children/grandchildren. Our suites and stay was so impressive we are looking forward to staying at William Inglis Hotel again. I had the pleasure of meeting Emily Turnbull (who works at William Inglis Hotel) help me organise my suites. Emily is Proffessional yet did so with such a kind approachable manner, she definitely made our stay at William Inglis Hotel absolutely Wonderful. The rest of the staff at reception in the new market restaurant/room.service were So welcoming polite and helpful. Nice hotel with rooftop pool and a great restaurant downstairs , room is spacious , parking is free at the front , staff are friendly and helpful, second time staying there and will be back definitely!

Luxury in a Rural Setting

My husband and I had a fantastic stay with the friendly and receptive staff. Reception: We were greeted with a warm smile and friendly gesture by Brenda as we arrive at the lobby. Registration was a breeze and efficient. Without asking, we were given two keys for our room which is what we want. Samantha even offered to help in our luggage, but we were right. Room: Neat, tidy, spacious and clean. We appreciate the design and layout. Nice carpet giving a feeling of the equine atmosphere. Room is complete with good amenities like iron, sleepers, coffee/tea making facility. The bed was comfortable. We did not hear any noise from the corridor. Nice to know some information about the particular horse that was name for our room. Lifts: Very quick to arrive after pressing the up or down button. Pool area: Nice location with cabanas overlooking the racecourse and the stables. Newmarket Restaurant: Good selection on the menu. The dishes we ordered were good, except for the Linguine that I ordered: the pasta was perfectly cooked 'al dente' but it was let down by the seafood taste. All other dishes were nice, in particular the Minute Steak with the signature Salsa - highly recommended! Hotel grounds: Provides an awesome ambiance with gardens, water features and the stables. Special mentions: - Brenda at reception for a warm welcome who set the expectation of what we will experience - Krystal Carreon-Mobello who was passionate to highlight and explain the facilities and features of the hotel. She also gave the tip how to get to the pool: use the left lifts! :) - Lexi who was our main wait staff for dinner at the Newmarket Restaurant. We were lucky to have her again the next day for our lunch. She has the apt for wait staffing, true customer acumen, friendly and sensitive to our needs and likes. Alisha and Kate were also lovely.

Good stay but odd room design

Stayed for two nights, amenities were great. The room was oddly designed with no door between the bathroom and bedroom and a semi-translucent toilet door. Normally being on the toilet should be a very private time however not much is left to the imagination in this case.

I was Unable to stay as Covid broke out the person I was going to visit has since passed away and i have no need to travel that way again. My sister whose husband had cancer and a very low immune system, stayed there twice when they had to travel to Sydney for his treatment. she was very happy with the facilities especially the disabled bathroom and the fact that they could get room service, it was also close to the medical facility they had to attend, staff were extremely helpful.

Staff are always amazing. I hadn't stayed in perhaps six months and all the regular staff remembered me by name. Impressive! Rooms are amazing. Restaurant is great for breakfast and minute steak. I would have to say this is one of the nicest properties outside the main hotels in the heart of Sydney.

The stay was a gift to my partner who is a big horse racing fan. The room over looked the course which went down a treat. I loved the luxury of the hotel. The rooms were plush anD comfortable, the rooftop was stunning and the staff were polite and approachable!

I have used the William Inglis quite frequently - but due to COVID I have not stayed since March 2020. The staff were very welcoming and the service as usual was impeccable.

We were lucky we had a great day for the pool to enjoy with the kids. This hotel is more for couples and friends than families as there is not a lot to do with kids.

I booked the Hotel because I could get single beds & it had a restaurant I was taking my grandson to a training camp for NSW Under 18 Hockey. When we walked into the room there was a terrible smell we discovered it was coming from the toilet which had no water in the bowl so we flushed about five times then the smell started to go but the big issue I had no door on the bathroom I was there with my grandson. I ring reception & told them about the toilet and asked if all rooms had no door on the bathroom & was informed all rooms are the same except Suites. Also breakfast was not served until 7.00am which did not suit us my grandson training started at 7.45am. We did have a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Saturday night.
