I booked my hotel on quite late notice and the reception staff were wonderful in accomodating for myself and my family. We have stayed at this hotel prior and loved the decor and ambience, the rooms are very well appointed. My Stay was for only one night and I used both the in-room food menu as well as dining at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. We also visited the bar for a few drinks during our stay and everything was great. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing seems to be a problem. My only concern in regards to my stay was small pieces of glass approx 1-2cm that were found on the floor of my room. I have a very young child and am very thankful that I found it and he hadn’t. The first piece was found and I alerted this to reception staff which they deeply apologised for and said they would have the room vacuumed during my dinner, upon returning to room this was not done, nor did any housekeeping staff come to do it once back in the room, the next morning I found another sharp piece which I took to reception upon checking out. Once again reception staff apologised and said that she had been told by her colleague about the piece found the previous night. I feel that during these uncertain times due to Covid that this is quite unacceptable as thoroughly cleaning the rooms before new guests arrive should be paramount. Also I consider myself and my family very fortunate that my young 1 year old child did not find these pieces of glass and either ingest or cut himself with it. This is a 5 star hotel and I expect that cleaning and ensuring the rooms are safe for guests is of the highest importance.

My husband & I enjoyed two nights in the blissful comfort of a king size bed. We were welcomed with a very cheery smiling receptionist who welcomed us back. After enjoying our days outing we returned to another Welcome Back by another staff member ! We thought we might enjoy our dinner in the restaurant however as we hadn’t booked prior to day’s outing we were informed that the restaurant was booked out. There would be a table available in one & a half hours time and the staff would phone us if a table became available earlier. After waiting forty- five minutes we phoned the restaurant & were fortunate enough to be told there was a table for two available immediately. The food was delicious, the drinks fantastic and the attention by the staff was outstanding.

I stayed at the William Inglis approx. 35 Nights in 2019. Staff got to know me very well and was made a very welcome guest, knowing what my order is for dinner drinks and even where I like to sit. Alisha is the star in the restaurant. Even now that my stays are no where near as frequent I receive the same high level of service.

I also would like to point out that we do have higher room categories such as Superior and Executive Suites that features a bath. I will make a note on your booking to see if we can upgrade you to one of our suites for your next stay depending on the availability as I see that you are also a Silver Member. Alternatively you can use your suite night upgrade feature of your membership to take advantage of a guaranteed upgrade using your points. This was our third time staying at this hotel. The standard at all times has been exceptional. Check in and check out staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Staff at restaurant for dinner and breakfast gave us wonderful service and the food was delicious. Room and bed was very comfortable and bright. Beautiful surrounding gardens. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Was a good stay as usual, would suggest though, I had to get rooms service again due to the restaurant being full and again the bread that is served free if you dine in isn't served free with room service I think it should be in my opinion. Food is always 100% good though. Only other gripe is i seem to have to chase for my tax invoices like again I was told on check out I would be emailed my tax invoice for the charge backs to the rooms I did but still no email with that invoice....Ill have to chase again on Monday.
