« Outstanding property »

Truely a remarkable property with history on the door step. Staff can’t do enough for you from the smallest of things to the strangest of requests. Ethan on the front desk went above and beyond with customer service. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

We got to check in early as the room was ready. However the room was set up as a king instead of 2 singles. The staff were efficient in getting this fixed.

our check in experience was good rooms and view wonderful also enjoyed the pool.the staff during ourstay were briliant with excellent service. we also enjoyed a lively walk around the complex. so all in all a cery enjoyable experience.

« Stay was ok for a short stay , well located »

Stay itself was very good from the room to the food only fault was the way the staff looked down at me and the rest of my guests on check in and every time we were in foyer like we didnt belong there due to our appearance just because you are not suited up doesn't mean you don't have money or can't afford a up scale motel.

It was a great 1 night stay, but wasn't happy with the early fire alarm evacuation as it was a late Valentine's gift for my wife and me, as i work 6 days and my wife 12hrs 5 days, so the sleep in would of been great, but there was no compensation given or offered ,

« Disappointing »

Staff were unfriendly, disengaged and inexperienced from check in to check out. We were woken at 6:45am to a false fire alarm. Inexperienced staff during the fire alarm and no clear direction.Could hear everything they said when the loud speaker shouldn’t be on as they were discussing what to do. We checked out straight after the alarm went off as we could not go back to sleep. The manager told us that it was due to another person smoking in their room and her attitude was Oh well these things happen and can’t be helped. We asked for compensation due to being inconvenienced due to false alarm. The manager was very quick to say she needed to speak to reservations and she will call me the next day and really ushered us out the door . She never called. I have since called twice with no response or call back from the manager. Very disappointing as the hotel itself is beautiful, clean and the design has character but filled with Terrible staff with no customer experience.

Our staff members are trained to treat every alarm as an emergency until the Fire&Rescue team is satisfied that it is safe for our guests to re enter the property. On this particular incident, we have also made 3 announcements informing our guest regarding the procedure they must follow. I do understand the inconvenience this has caused you however we must give utmost importance to the health and safety of our guests. « Disappointing »

Firstly, I would like to clearly say that the staff were magnificent and the accomodation and facilities were fantastic. What was disappointing was the quality of guests - loud group in the pool area, rowdy children running around the restaurant and yelling - masking the entertainment in the upstairs bar area. Finally, the rude guest that decided to set off the fire alarm on Sunday morning at 6:45am by lighting a cigarette in their room.

« Good stay »

The check-in was relatively painless, thanks to Anastacia. Facilities in the room were adequate. The TV channels were jumping and hung a number of times, maybe due to the thunderstorm happening that night. There was a fire alarm that went off in the morning at 6:30-6:45 AM. This was a good jolt from sleep as I needed to head to Melbourne by car, but I think other guests were not expecting such an early wake-up call. Check out was painless too.

« Fire alarm at 530am and poor response from the guy at the reception »

The fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate. I was looking forward to sleeping in after a big night out. No clear explanation was given. Guy at reception said it was a false alarm. But couldn't get me a card back to my room cause he was dealing with an "emergency". I want a 50% refund for spoiling half my stay.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed there, we live only at Moorebank back come just for a get away. We found the food at the restaurant to be ok. My partner and his daughter both had steak and it was extremely fatty, also the bernasise sauce was made incorrectly. Then to top it off the fire alarm went off on Sunday at 6.30amish

The stay at this hotel was due to the Inglis horse sale. It's extremely handy to stay on the grounds. The accommodation is of a very good standard, rooms are bright and clean. The pool and gym also great.
