Great experience as Ibis is dependable to be a standard great delivery on basics. Excellent customer service from Judith and Sayed at reception . The hotel manager was also very suppotive when called upon.

One of my Worst Stays

1- Room was very small, and you have to pay extra for (comb, toothbrush, etc....). 2- Brekfast buffet at Mum Mum Restaurant was not even satisfactory, I asked for an omelette eggs (4 eggs) they said we only allow for 2 eggs per person and even the 2 eggs omelette was not cooked well. There was no variety of food and the food that you could eat, it finished quickly and it was 8:30 AM. 3- Parking lot entrance is so narrow and non convenient also it was smelly. 4- all of the above complications, yet the price was not cheap it was for 270AED and it was off season due to Corona Virus, I could go to Copthrone Hotel (my favourite so far) or Hilton Hotel for almost same price but I wanted to change my usual routine stays. 5- GYM is very small and only 3-4 Machines, there is no Sauna or steam.

Nicely located, but smelled like cigarette smoke

Conveniently located a leisurely walking distance from the Central Souq, we even walked over to the Souq Al Jubail (large and modern indoor fruit & vegetable market / fish market / meat market -- very clean and wonderful to see and take pictures -- we even got to see the fish auction). Unfortunately, despite that all rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, there was a smell of remnant cigarette smoke. I wonder if perhaps the hotel previously allowed smoking, and then changed to all non-smoking rooms, but that the smell of cigarette still lingers long afterwards. If it wasn't for the fact that my daughter was so tired that she fell asleep immediately, I would have called reception to ask to be moved to a different room.

Although checked in online a day before, had to spend another 15-20 min upon arrival filling in the forms, giving documents, etc. The room assigned was a correct family room, however kids sofas were not made, there was not enough towels, no soap in the bathroom and one mattress was broken, so called staff to fix all the issues what was done within 30minutes. Due to the early checkout at 4.30am staff offered to provide packed breakfast for all 4 of us what was very nice gesture and we thought that at least we dont need to buy any extra food. However on the check out morning the staff on reception had no idea about the promise of packed breakfast and said nothing can be done to acommodate this request since no message was left for him or whatsoever. Thus the trip ended not on a positive note, having two small hungry kids going to the airport and searching there some food suitable to them...
