1. We were initially given the key to an already occupied room! Thank goodness the occupier was not there when we opened the door. How can that happen??? Front desk apologized and offered a different room which was not already occupied and we spent a restful night. 2. Unfortunately the early call we had arranged was before we changed rooms, so it did not get transferred to the second room - no doubt the occupier of the first room had a shock in the morning!!! 3. Nice clean quiet room on the ground floor as requested. The teaspoons on the tray were still sticky from the previous occupier.

Nice location, near airport. The surrounding of the hotel is quiet. and the shuttle service from hotel was appreciated.

« Dirty room bathroom has mould and air vent filthy »

Lovely comfy bed and clean bedding and towels but a dirty room that I doubt had actually been cleaned. Crumbs and raisins from an unknown item on side we did not eat in the room this was here when we walked in. Air conditioning vent full of dust . Mould and pubic hairs in the shower and on the bathroom sink. Debris in the corners of the bathroom too.

Great location, Good parking, Clean rooms with good firm mattress, Excellent breakfast, surprisingly quiet considering nx to airport, friendly staff. I will use again. We used conference rooms +++++

« Why do I get automatically signed into some member program? »

Since I have my email address, I receive at least a mail a day from accord hotel. 1 mail is like living a bulb light on for an hour. I did not wish to receive advertisements from you. This is energy wasting and such an irritant for me!

Room temperature was set to 19degrees upon arrival - I wasn´t able to warm up the room to a comfortable temperature. TV didn´t work at first - cable was not connected.

Stay was ok but booking was made including use of Accor points. Having corrected issue with proposed bill at checkin, was charged full cost of stay to credit card at checkout and not provided with an invoice. Deeply disappointed with Novotel and still awaiting refund 1 month later

Good overall experience but let down by shower tray surrounds having black mould. Also were told it was a standard room although we had booked superior and were expecting upgrade to executive as Club Accor gold member. We are told no upgrade rooms available just about every time we stay.

« No sleep at all »

Decided to stay close to the airport to ensure a good night's sleep before my early morning flight. Did not get any sleep due to screaming and running in the corridor all night. I believe it was a group of girls having a night out - but the fact that the staff did nothing to stop them disturbing all their guests was shocking. The next morning the corridor stank from vomit.

« close to airport, nice food, good service, cold rooms »

Most staff were very nice especially at reception and the guy behind bar on thursday 14th Nov. I found the staff on the bar on eve of 15th November not very helpful or nice. I asked for a sprite which he gave me but no glass so I asked could I have a glass and he grunted at me and I had to wait until he served someone else before I got the glass - he was very unwelcoming! The hotel was modern and rooms were comfortable. Only thing was they were very cold which really impacted our stay. We had 3 rooms and in 2 of the rooms the heat was not working. I rang reception and they brought me a plug in heater for one room (room 189) but I was still really cold and then woke up during the night to turn the heater off as it was too hot then was freezing again in morning so I didn't have a restful sleep at all. At this time of year all the rooms should be heated!

Clean quiet room, perfect for relaxing and having a good rest. Good quality and variety for breakfast. Perhaps dinning menu could be improved and someone should clean the tables more often.

The only negative point was the absence of a porter to help load the luggage onto the airport coach. My wife and I are in our eighties.

Some signage could be improved when exiting M11 Junction, if you follow airport off A120 some Novotel signs but not clear when you don't use sat nav devices.
