A nice hotel with great facilities. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the coach to the airport is every 30 mins and just a 10 minute journey. All in all an ideal hotel if you have an early flight from Stansted or land late at night

It’s a standard hotel most of the personal is nice and friendly some are able to see the problems you having and bend some rules but some aren’t able to help out. I came in early on my flight and had prepared them before about that, but when I arrived there was no room available although if I payed an early check in fee there suddenly was a room available. I had my simulator sessions during the night from 19… and my flight left at 0600 on my checkout day but they wasn’t able to let me have my last breakfast on my early arriving instead. These kinda small stuff are tiring in the end. Also the showers, I know we are supposed to care about the environment but having a shower with low pressure that dripping out water instead of able to make a quick shower and get wet on your hole body at once is just taking longer time and you’ll have the shower on for longer than needed due you dry up one side of the body before the other one is wet. Then AC is in need of a service or something because even if you turn it off it’s still sounding.

Alway nice staying at the Novotel, comfy room and friendly staff. The only thing is one year ago I was promised by a manager that we would get Nutella, or at least some kind of choccolate spread, at breakfast. Still nothing. Everything else was perfect

Nice welcome upon arrival - clear instructions from receptionist re room location, meals etc. Room was fine - window perhaps could seal better - frequent aircraft noise. Catering staff were first rate - food was excellent.

« A good overnight waiting for a flight »

Welcome efficent, and room absolutely fine. Shower, while a nice design, could have done with a bit more pressure. Evening meal in bar was good, and staff were friendly. £3 each way for the shuttle, given it was an airport hotel, seemed a little unreasonable, really.

« Excellent »

We are regular guests and only ever stay for one night ready for our flight early the next day. The hotel is very clean, modern and up to date and our twin room was very tastefully furnished. We find it most convenient for Purple parking which is literally yards away. The food is excellent and the staff always very attentive. Also the room rates are very reasonable for a hotel of such a high standard and convenience for Stansted airport.

Great - but I really resented the parking charge...Couldnt you at least let us know in advance as as a business traveller I have to pay this out of my own pocket?........Also howabout a policy of insisting phones in restaurant/bar cant be on speakerphone without headphones?....(Maybe sell cheap headpones? Apart from that - food was great,bed was fantastic....superb room...pleasant staff...

Starting with a very courteous front of house greeting, we found our room and it was described, very clean, we then went for a meal and the restaurant and bar staff were 5 star and the food was excellent. After a good nights sleep the checkout was fast and again courteous, well done all the staff involved

Artic temperature in the corridor, impossible to warm up the room until I discovered the extra heater in the closet, managed to reach an approx 20 degrees... Very sad breakfast as usual

« Terrible »

I was initially put in a room with faulty noisey ac unit. I asked to move rooms. The second room was fine , the ac unit made a noise but nothing like the first room. I asked if a third room was available to check. The staff said ok but we are not changing you again . The third room was the worst due to aircraft noise. I asked if the second room or any other room was available, the reception staff on duty became hostile and argumentative. The receptionist on duty told me no quieter room was available and that I should not request a room change the next day. I was due to stay 2 nights but checked out early after the first night due to the hostile attitude of the staff in dealing with the issue.

Modern, large and quiet hotel. Large and modern rooms with great amenities. Only negatives are; shower is not very powerful and the door to the room let's in a lot of light from the hallway making it difficult to sleep. Lovely breakfast and large dining room.

« Overnight stay & parking - New Yrs Eve 2019 »

We booked to break up the journey to the airport, wanted safe parking and somewhere nice & comfortable to get our heads down before heading abroad. The checking in and car parking process was great & the room looked sufficient for our needs. I'd read a review before I visited, which complained about the temperature of the rooms & unfortunately ours was no better. Ridiculously cold for this time of year, but thought we'd just wrap up and get on with it. The problem was that there was a noise coming form the air conditioning system all night as well so not much sleep was had by all....
