The hotel was aligned with my expectations. I've also received an upgrade to my room. The gym was available with cardio machines, a restaurant, and a buffet breakfast. Nice terrace with a lounge bar. Parking in the mall with a special price if you stay in the Novotel

I arrive rather confused with poor information on the website both for the address and especially for the parking. Normal entry, without infamy and without praise. Really humble room, more suited to a two-star hotel. Accommodation of the family on a double bed and children on two cots more suitable as dog kennels than as beds and with worn bedlinen. All in a small room with a window that cannot be opened so if, as happened to us, the air conditioning power is not customizable, you can only choose between the too much cold (so much for respect of the enviroment) or scorcher. Last but not least, a small locked door separates the room from another neighboring one, filtering out all the slightest noises. If, as happened to us, the neighbor is a peasant who screams on the phone for a good twenty minutes at five in the morning, you can well understand how the experience is to be forgotten and the hotel to be crossed out.

Dear Sir, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write to us following your stay at Novotel Charleroi Center. I am sorry that the service and performance did not live up to your expectations and please accept our sincere apologies. Few rooms are communicating. Only a few station rooms to accommodate large families if necessary. According to the current safety regulations, it is now impossible to open the windows to avoid energy losses with the air conditioning. Be aware that with the windows open, with the various episodes of heat waves, the room would be overheated every day. Family rooms can accommodate 2 children under 16 years old. the single beds are 80x190. Thank you again for your comments and we look forward to regaining your trust on your next stay. Not a 4* hotel in my opinion The lobby and reception area is pleasent . We check in at 10pm desperate to go to bed for our early flight the next morning after a long day travelling and being awake since 5am . We are given our room key , we go to our room and the key does not work . We go back to reception where she activates the card . We go back to the room and the card works but we find the room is being used by another guest and she had given us the wrong room key and number ! Room v v v basic . Not sure how a 4* ? Bed was comfortable enough and shower nice . No hair conditioner .

Didn’t eat or utilise any facilities at this hotel but my stay was a positive one & it did a good job for the money. The location is ideal, very central, & close to the train station. Check-in was friendly & efficient & the hotel has a pleasing, modern design. My room was on a high floor, minimalist in decor, & had a big picture window which brought in lots of natural light, no views to speak of, it’s not a pretty city, but it gave a fresh, airy feel. Bathrooms are small & toiletries scant & basic.

I stayed for 4 days and had very positive experience. Great location, next to shopping mall and close to Railway and bus stations.Service is excellent. Staff is very good. Hotel is super maintained. Breakfast is maybe basic, but delicious. Rooms are very nice, have all you need. Hygiene in top level. Highly recommend this hotel.
