I've been a client for a few years now. I love it and it feels like a second home. But this time I had more of a feeling of being in a Club Med instead of a Fairmont hotel. Which is rather disappointing.

We had a great trip. Everyone is so nice and friendly, especially Rachid in the restaurant; the kindest man and my kids loved him. Mhamed on the Reception desk also great. Beautiful setting, a perfect place to relax and also close to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Overall experience was good in exception of restaurants (very long time to get food, drinks). More than 45min waiting. Quality of restaurant food was below my expectations in this kind of hotel.

We had a great stay family with 1& 3 year old. The hotel is really great for families kids club is excellent. We were however put out that parents cannot stay with our 1 year old we had to hire a nanny. There were some discrepancies every day in relation to housekeeping…some day we got face clothes other days we didn’t, some days water other days no. I had called ahead to confirm that the sofa bed in the suite was a double but was only made up as a single housekeeping did come fast and fixed it for us. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster at the weekends no cereal bowls huge q for eggs lots of things unavailable at 9:15, not enough staff and every single day for 5 days we had to request spoons for cereal as they were not on table with knives and forks which was just annoying. We had the same rate for first 4 nights the 5th night was 3 times the price considering we left the hotel at 4:30 am and there had been cancellations due to UK flight cancellations it didn’t sit right with me we stayed an extra night into the weekend in the Mandarin Oriental and they charged us the same rate not the €3000 rate is would be had we booked separately. We went on one trip from hotel my son wanted to ride a camel. We were brought to a very dodgy carpark to ride the camel it didn’t feel safe and no opportunities to take a nice picture. There were no robes or mini bar in room. Some staff lacked common sense when eating with the kids in restaurants, we asked please bring food quickly as they were hungry and instead of being bread or kids food they brought amuse bouche when we were already under pressure. The lack of a restaurant being open at our kids normal dinner time of 17:00 meant we ate in the room most nights which didn’t allow us parents to enjoy restaurants at all and the kids room service menu is not complimentary like it is in the restaurants. Two of the days the pool was just too hot it was like a bath. It is great it’s heated. But got too hot. This seems like a very long list of complaints we did have a great time but for 5* hotel these are very minor things that are easily fixed. Also pool area understaffed had to repeatedly ask for towels menus etc. As the servers were under a lot of pressure trying to get to everyone. There was a lack of kid friendly snacks like yoghurts and fruit through the day if they were not in kids club. No kids welcome surprise which I would have expected in room.

Great hotel with fantastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service within beautiful grounds. Would definitely visit again. Special thanks to Mr Miri who was extremely professional and always there to help, extremely friendly manner! Mr Mohammed the manager who was always there in the restaurants was also very kind and great with our son. My only constructive feedback would be to perhaps expand dining options or the menus. The food was good, just not that much variety. However it was a fantastic stay. Thank you all.

It was good to get away from home and to return to the Fairmont Royal Palm in Marrakech. Overall we had a great time with lovely weather and wonderful accommodation in a Prince Villa as we usually do.

We came with an organised group. The hotel was amazing from the beginning till the end. Excellent rooms, amenities, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
