From the start to the end we could not fault our trip. My son who is only 2 was genuinely cared for by all members of the staff. I have never gone back to a hotel before however I would make an exception for here.

Enjoyable stay with two small kids

We wanted to have an all-inclusive family get away. Long days at the pool, going by the schedule of the kids (food and drinks available easily). We spent most of the time at the resort swimming and enjoying being served in the nice weather. Exactly what we wanted :)

From the moment of arriving to the point of leaving the experience was superb. we were greeted by Javad playing a practical joke and acting like a statue which got us going and his welcome as always was lovely and welcoming. on booking in concierge Maheesh had a chat and he seemed to remember us from our past trip in 2019. he quickly brought me up to date with who was here and who was not and was very welcoming. The room was spectacular and luxurious. this was looked after by Abdul from housekeeping a very pleasant and hard working Ninja. I say that because we very rarely saw him but occasionally caught him in the act of towel art which was tremendous. However the room was kept immaculate by his attention to detail. We ate generally in the Turquoise Restaurant as we find the atmosphere and attention in there more relaxing than the hustle bustle of the other restaurant and this was made memorable by ChaCha the grill chef who always took the time to ask us to sit and brought our food to our table, Vysakh the team leader was very engaging in conversation and always made sure we had drinks and service Mukhammad loved to help us and worked hard all around. The evenings were spent in the relaxing environment of the Nargile Lounge. where Sahil remembered me from March 19 and could not do enough for us as before, in March 19 he was reasonably new he has learned his skill of hospitality well. Sri Harri was the team leader and could not do enough for us to make us welcome and look after our needs and Marvyn was there with a smile and a drink whenever needed. towards the latter part of our stay we got chatting to Tasker the mixologist. he really was a master of mixology. you mention a idea fruity gin base and he would come up with a great cocktail. I forgot to mention the pool bar and the I-Breeze the service and staff through out the day were excellent and engaging. What a wonderful stay and thank you all involved you touched our heart and made memories. I can not thank the staff enough.

Overall good stay, some issues like noise/music from outside bar area in the room, shower temperature, and delays getting a cot. Food pretty good throughout hotel and great set up for kids.

An all exclusive experience that lived up to all we imagined. Excellent service and restaurants. Clean well maintained and friendly. The early morning check in was seamless. The suite was exceptional- if anything, a little sparse in the living area. May have been due to Covid. Bed always a great size - and comfortable- will miss it! All the restaurants were excellent with full range of food choice. In the main buffet restaurant the seafood night and steak night were exceptional. ( French fries would have been nice) Too much food ! Something for everyone. Could have used this buffet restaurant everyday. Loved the Italian Restaurant L’olivio. Service great. Food quality exceptional. We were relaxed and stayed there well after meal completed. Toro Loco steakhouse was again good food .. but experience was spoilt by slightly over theatrical service and waiters comments. May suit some clients - but was a little embarrassing too us. The staff were to exuberant and complimenting themselves on a fantastic dish before we’d had a chance to try or select. Ironically- Our meal was fine ( but not exceptional) but on a table next to us the staff couldn’t get the man’s steak right. Pretty elementary. The presentation seemed more important than the quality. Acqua and more - was too hot in the evening. No fans to move air . We had to finish quickly and go to bar. I loved the fish choices ( had grilled sea bass-gorgeous) but my wife was resigned to grilled chicken as she didn’t have fish she would prefer. Service good. Entrees were surprisingly large. No starter needed. The bars were all excellent- In the evening we loved the Nargile lounge. Made it a nightly call. Lovely cocktails and service was very good. Pool service from Highlights bar was excellent. Regularly asked if we needed anything. Main Pool was one of the best we’ve experienced. Clean not too busy and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Checkout simple and efficient.

The welcome was perfect just like the location. Hotel and staff are immaculate. All restaurants are of an incredible high standard. The sports team are encouraging and fun. All reception, meeter greeters , bar and restaurant staff, sports staff are passionate about their jobs and ensuring you have the perfect stay.. The beach and pool areas are spotlessly clean and waiters are attentive and ensure you are hydrated - whether it’s a box of cool water or a cocktail. The whole experience was incredible - the best hotel with the best location and team I have ever stayed in. I will be going back.

Best location and beach

+ Nice location, good kitchen and overall offer for food and drinks, well kept surrounding territory, good quality at a la carte restaurants; - a bit outdated design, use to be a standard for a Turkish hotel 15 years ago, insufficient light intensity in the rooms (lights where installed 10 years ago and have lost around 80% of their capacity), overall light is insufficient in any way to put on and off cosmetics for women at any place in the room, low room service efficiency (asked twice to provide an XL bathrobe at the reception, never got a bathrobe or a reply during 3 days, so maybe its receptions fault)

Great vacation on the Palm

We enjoyed the 10 days stay at the Rixos as a family with a 2 year old son. It is a very nice resort for a family. People are very friendly, room was nice and had a good size. And important it was always clean. Food also good. Although after 10 days we knew how the buffet looked like. But again here quality was good. Only big point which we didn‘t like was that we were only able to make 3 reservations in the a la carte restaurants. After sharing our view that 3 reservations in 10 days is not enough, the reservations desk (not that friendly or motivated females) they gave us another night in the Italian restaurant. By the way, the restaurants were almost empty during our first three bookings at 9pm. This is clearly a point were we need to ask ourselves if we should book the Rixos again in the future. We want to go for an a la carte restaurant when we feel like doing that. 3 times in 10 days is not enough. Hence not sure if we will return. If that would be differently managed we believe the Rixos is a nice place to return to.

In regards of ala carte capacity I do understand your disappointment and we wish to be able to provide unlimited access to ala carte restaurants for all guests. Currently the amount of covers we can use at the same time is restricted by Dubai Municipality COVID-19 regulations, due to this we had to implement some limitations and also we informed all our partners about that. From our side our goal is that all our guest experience maximum of Rixos facilities, and based on occupancy we can offer 3-4 reservations for 10 nights stay. If we will give unlimited access to some guests, it would mean that our other guests will not try our ala carte restaurants at all, which is not really fair. A lot of people ready to help with every need. Though, it seems a portion of the crew is lacking basic skills like speaking english and understanding it aswell. Happy with the La Turca, & more, and Olivo restaurants. Loco Toro service is not what I would expect, we were there twice and errors were made in our servings/orders both times. Room was fine but clearly dated/used. Two times we contacted the staff about a very bad smell in our bathroom which clearly has something to do with a broken drain pipe from the smell of it. But nothing was done. Concierge service worked splendid for us the 2 times we used it. Pool and bar was satisfying as well. Kids club was superb, and this is a big plus in my review. Overall we were satisfied.

We stayed at Rixos for 4 nights commencing 18 November. The experience was incredible from the time we stepped out of the taxi to when we left. A lovely hotel, friendly staff and wonderful restaurants. The steakhouse was fantastic with Wagyu steak included in the all inclusive rate. The little cake shop had the most delightful cakes and fantastic coffee.

We went to Rixos The Palm for the second time in October 2021 with three kids aged 2, 5 and 7. We have been to several lovely places in the region. That being said, the kids club at the Rixos is better than anything. Lovely staff, great events, energy, kids disco, petting zoo for an afternoon, jumping inflatable stuff the next day, etc. All great. We will be back for X-mas. Hence, a special thank you to Sibel Cengiz, the head of the kids club, and her team. On other matters, the all inclusive contract is worth it, very good food - a la carte for about half the days in specific restaurants - quality buffet for the rest of the days and brand name drinks. Good stuff. I am not being paid for writing this... :-)
