Ultimately we had a positive experience at the Rixos, but there were a few areas which need improvement. It would be an idea to offer guests the option of a mattress topper, as we found the beds a little to hard, so we didn’t have great nights sleep. Another area for improvement would be the cocktail bar, the cocktails we tried were very un-advertising and were made with no care, they were put together and basically thrown at you with no garnish or flare. The other problem was the early morning alarm, so you could get a space on the jetty to sunbathe, if you weren’t up by 7am, you wouldn’t beat certain nationalities to the beds as their towels were already in place, even though half of them didn’t turn up until 9.30ish. The room we stayed in was getting a little tired and could do with a refress, but this could have been as it was the end of season. On a positive note, there are more positives than negatives. The entrance to the Rixos and the grounds are beautiful and are well cared for. The food in the main restaurant had an amazing choice of food and very well presented and cooked, this along with the waiting staff, was a very pleasant experience. The choice of spirits and beers are another great positive with many named brands on offer and we had some very nice wines with our dinner in the evenings. The rooms were kept really clean and the cleaners must be congratulated for their efforts. The facilities the hotel offer are second to none, with a great choice for all ages to enjoy. We hired the yacht for a day, which was a great day and the staff were very friendly and prepared us a really nice lunch on the boat, it might be an idea for them to have a book that people could put there names down who would like to share the cost of the boat for a day, as we were told it was for groups as it cost 600 euros for the day.

Everything was great but we had some issues with the internet connection. In a 5 stars hotel it should work fast everywhere. Also at this time of the season they had only two restaurants open. They should have said that in their website.

Amazing staff. Clean comfortable accommodation. Good food especially the freshly cooked lunch choice at restaurant near the beach. Evening main restaurant not a great experience far too busy, staff tried very hard to make a better experience. Italian rssturant in our opinion not worth paying extra for. Sun beds a challenge to get before reserved by other guests and then not used all day. Grounds and beach spotlessly clean. A very lovely hotel.

We just got back from a 5 day stay at this resort and we very much enjoyed it. The staff there were super friendly and provided a great service every time. We had a garden view room and it was a very good size and included everything we needed. We loved the food service here. We are both vegans but found so many options at their main restaurant and the staff again were fantastic. Some negatives are that the laundry service, although is good, it is not very reliable. I had to make many calls to chase my laundry and it was always returned without a form. It is also a bit expensive. We also really liked their shisha/hookah service. Although there is an open lounge with water flowing in between each seating booth area, they can also bring it anywhere you want, as well as the beach! The downside is that it is quite price, roughly £35 pounds. The resort also has a great shuttle service service and can escort you to your room and other parts of the resort like the cabanas which are located on a tiny island connecting to the resort. We did stay at one of the cabanas for a full day and it was amazing. The middle service we chose came with a lunch menu and small bottle of moet. All other drinks and food was at no extra cost and the staff will brought them on a shuttle, (though you have to remind them to come back in 30min as there is no other way of calling them), It was around €200 and you have your own cabana equipped with a bed and an outside area with sun beds and a ladder that goes in to the water. I would really recommend going to the sauna/hamam area. It includes a great gym, sauna, steam room, indoor/outdoor pool and the most important turkish hamam and a separate relaxation room. All these services are free and included as part if the all- inclusive, except any massages or scrubs, etc. We dis go for the turkish hamam service which was a scrub and foam wash and massage, this was around €130 for 2 people. Overall we loved this place and are really thinking of going back, specially around the oct-dec time as it is not too hot but sunny and warm.

« Unexpected experience with Rixos Premium Bodrum »

Dear Sir/Madam, Please be informed, that on arrival day early check-in was not provided by my request even after I showed my member card to reception staff, (4 hours just only waiting), on second day of our stay was raining on my request to provide one umbrella for 4 adults the reception staff answered they have no umbrella for guest but we have seen how it was provided to another guests from Europe a lot of plastic raincoats and branded Rixos umbrellas, during check-out staff at reception forgot about our luggage delivery even it was requested 1,5 hour in advance, during period of our stay internet signal was very unstable, sometimes no signal at all, very old conditions of Cabana facilities. Only three positive thinks: very discipline and helpful waiters staff in the main bar at lobby and restaurant, good quality of food, nice garden and view from my room. After 3 years of my traveling through Accor chains I confidently claimed that Rixos hospitality service in general is worse than Sofitel, Pullman or even Mercure. And finally, your Hotel still not yet transferred points to my Accor account, please check that fact because my surname was written incorrectly in invoice Shytkov instead of S.. Thank you! Hello and thanks Unfortunately at the time of my stay the internet quality was extremely bad and the Aqua Park and Pool program closed. Baklava lunch, a popular Turkish dessert, was not served. Animation and live music were not the same as Rixos Hotel because I was in Bodrum at the Titanic Deluxe last year and had some nights. Hope to see .

Very nice. Restaurants and chaise-longues were always full despite off-season. I can’t imagine your hectic days during season. Some stuff were missing in the room like soap, laundry bag, foot towel - soap and foot towels were provided in a minute but couldn’t get a laundry bag for wet swimwears while we were going to airport even requested from HK, reception and house keeping ladies that we saw - was very bizarre but maybe because of our short notice. Shuttles were on time. Waitresses/waiters and bellboys/bellgirls were always helpful and polite. Drinks were under average quality - both liquor brands and cocktails.

We’ve traveled to all Rixos Hotels in Turkey so far. Last October was Gocek. But in here we faced that the beginning of October is a low season meaning that some things are not available (such as Greek-Fish restaurant, Patisserie)... The communication with the staff started with many issues but have been solved once we’d had met the right man... The first time I was a bit disappointed but now I feel like spent a great time there and everybody tried to help as they could. I definitely want to mention few positive and negative things. Positive: 1. The best La Rosetta A La Carte Italian Rixos restaurant is here in Bodrum called Cento per Cento. The food is true Italian (we have many friends in Italy and visit this wonderful country 4-5 times a year!) and served beautifully! The hostes Omer, the waiter Ibrahim, the chef and pizzaiolo were amazingly helpful, hospitable and friendly! Many thanks to all of them! It’s true, they all deserve not just many thanks but the separate mentions! They made us feel like home when we visited this Restaurant. That’s why we did it 3 times. And all the time was perfect!!! 2. The best reception worker we’ve ever met - Ozgur! I’m convinced he is to be among managers of this Hotel! If you have a true problem- turn to him, you’ll be pleasantly surprised! 3. The best Food and Beverages Manager we’ve ever turn to (we always turn to them since we’re Limoncello lovers - not popular liquor in Turkey and Rixos hotels so not often available...and properly prepared) - Erdem! He delivered Limoncello almost to all the bars, solved the problem with the Turkish wine ending (Idol) and gave us a chance to try the best Limoncello cocktails during our stay as well as a nice French wine as a compliment! He fixed all the issues in a minute! Many thanks to him! 4. I’d also like to mention that the Hotel has a very good SPA center with a spacious sauna, steam room (is very hot), hammam and relaxing area with many chill out rooms.. 5. And of course many thanks to the General manager - Murat Bey and the idea of gathering all the managers and guests for the management cocktail every Friday where you can also win good prices such as free Cabanas (private on water small houses around the island), access to the Cleopatra beach (this beach is for the Villa guests only), free massage at the SPA center and even a one night at the Villa free of charge! The main purpose of this event is to gather people, to listen their problems/suggestions, drink cocktails, let them try to win prices in a lottery and just spend a good time before dinner! Awesome and totally worth visiting! 6. The Bar in the main building, the Sea & See bar and Mojito bar are very good and barmaids make wonderful cocktails there! Negative: 1. The main swimming pool is not heated and the water there is even colder than in the sea. For little ones can be a problem! I heard lots of complaints from guests about it during our stay. There’s a heated pool in SPA though... But still - feels like not higher than 27 degrees... 2. Due to the low season (it’s weird, because in Rixos Gocek it’s not a low season) the Kalamata restaurant (Greek - Fish) and the Opera Patisserie were not working. The hookah bar seemed to be open once during our stay, but probably we went there in the wrong hours... 3. The communication with the sport activities Team was poor especially for the first time... All in all, we didn’t manage to watch our movie in the cinema. It was hard to explain that we want to make a reservation of tennis courts and that there were people playing there. The prices of sport activities are not clear and the guest relations don’t know them at all... It also wasn’t clear what is free and what is not. All the questions are to be asked at the sport activities desk near the jetty, not at the reception (except for the Ozgur), not at the Guest relations desk and not in the Sport activities tower - weird...! I have to mention that tennis courts condition is very bad. The worst tennis courts we’ve ever played in Rixos! But at the same time the most playing Hotel! There were lots of players we met at the court during our stay! 4. The Steam room in SPA center was tremendously hot! Please take into account It’s gotta be between 47-55 degrees! 5. As usual in Rixos on the checking -out time we were not given the car to take our luggage and us to reception. We asked 3 times about it calling number 55, but nothing happened. First time we called 30 minutes in advance, but eventually had to catch the shuttle bus (which isn’t for transfer to reception with luggages, it’s just a shuttle for the guests around the hotel’s territory). All in all we arrived at the reception desk a bit late of the scheduled time. I had to pay some bills and once I’d done it I asked a woman called Berna at the reception if I was going to receive a receipt and survey about my stay. She seemed like didn’t understand me. I asked her 3 more times in different way and it didn’t work so that she had to call somebody after any question I asked her... That was ridiculously strange and took our time before the flight! I just wanted to receive to email linked to my AccorHotels account a survey and my receipt...- Nothing special I suppose... ;-)

Spacious and well maintained hotel with a feeling of peaceful quiet. Several options for eating and drinking to suite our needs. Comfortable rooms and seating areas within the suite. Relaxing pool and beach area. Clean and tidy, attentive staff without being overpowered. Lovely scenery.

The room was ok. Although I've expected quite better cleaning. The food and menu of the restaurant were almost perfect. Very wide choice of different dishes: Asian, Mexican, Turkish a lot of meat and fish. That was cool. Animators and different activities were also cool. Big thanks to Baris and Hilal.

We loved everything but there was one issue that was really frustrating. In this day and age, a hotel at your caliber MUST have some designated non-smoking areas in the hotel. Even around kiddie pool, there were people smoking, that is unacceptable. I would love to come back to your hotel but smoke problem is a massive deterrent. We couldn’t even sit on our balcony in the evenings. In Europe and North America, that’s not an acceptable situation.
