Beautiful Hotel but some flaws

Transfer from airport quite long - 1hr 45mins Arrived at 8.50pm and restaurant closed at 9pm but they served us no problem. Room is nice and quiet. Fridge was making too much noise so we had to unplug it at night. Showers are small but water pressure good and shampoo, etc is nice. Not enough storage in bathroom or bedroom. Should have drawers in the room. Only one a la carte available to us, otherwise it’s €25pp and under 11’s €12.50pp! Turned out another a la carte was open so we got to book that through a different guest relations person. Not a great selection of Premium Drinks - no dark or spiced rum….! Teen club not open. Weight restriction on slides in larger waterpark so 14 and 11 year old couldn’t go together. Mertcan in Lotus Bar is amazing, always knew the order! Not enough floats for the lazy river. Pools absolutely freezing, making it unpleasant to swim but sea is divine. Defo need water shoes for the beach. Italian restaurant is nice and food was good. Steak was amazing but kids had finished their pizzas before the steak arrived! Mexican was fabulous. The food was really good and authentic Mexican. José Maria the chef came out to see us. Seafood restaurant - defo not worth paying for. Ice cream house is good but a pity waffles are only from 3-6pm. Also a pity that they use plastic containers that they don’t re-use. This could easily be changed to cardboard containers. And they could use paper straws or no straws too.

We liked a place a lot! Everything is super good, except one thing- rooms in main building need a bit renovation, sometimes it was a bad smell from canalisation system in bathroom, but i guess that is all possible to renovate. In general all the rest is perfect!

We spent 4 days in the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied with the facilities of the hotel. + Nice & comfortable rooms + Breakfast area for villa's is very nice & covenient + Comfortable seating & set up at the beach + Evening shows and entertainment was nice + Lotus Bar is a great place to sit & relax + Easy check in & check out process + Having Starbucks at the bar is great Things to improve - Quality of the food is not bad but I was expecting higher quality food from this hotel; it is a luxury hotel chain and food quality is average - Service at the main restaurant also needs some improvement

Barely fulfilled expectations

Good location, but that’s only one major plus. Food quality and diversity is around average, ok for regular “5 star” but not for Rixos. Once in the middle of stay red fish just disappeared. Most of desserts were really bad, except of traditional one, the were nice. Waiters were lazy, waiting could be lasted till the end of dinner. Payed restaurants were the same. Squid was rubber, fruits were as grass, fish was cooked yesterday and etc. Winter season and turned off air conditioners, while it’s +26 outside. I was sweat as young girls when saw Justin Bieber. Internet was below average, around 0.5 mb/s what is barely enough for call. Rental car in hotel far away from reality with this kind of prices for this kind of cars. 150$ per day for civic while this is the price of weekly rental in Antalya or Kemer. Bar was quite poor, most of alcohol were surrogate for originals. This hotel doesn’t worth spent money for it

Hotel is OK ( but just OK ) , for a 5 star hotel you need way more improvements . We move room as the one which we move in was very old and smelly room ( in old part ) so we needed to pay for superior room .. restaurant food is good , furniture in restaurant is dated ( for 4 star is OK ) . There is one granny on the beach which do the best Guzleme , keep her safe ! Beach decking is old and all broken + sunbeds are old . We got kitchen roll paper instead of toilet paper so I was super disappointed !!! ( this can not happen in any hotel ! ) The problem is that we have been to Rixos Belek before and there is nothing to compare with Tekirova ( Tekirova looks and feel like a 4 star hotel ) Most staff at evening bars asking for tips ( which is not nice ) , I do give tips anyway . I will not come again for sure in Tekirova .

All is good - food was absolutely great, staff was nice and friendly, territory very clean , except room cleaning- shower room was not cleaned at all , same was in the room - all what they do it’s changing bed and towels , some time vacuum cleaning . For the rest it was nice week to spend it in your hotel. Many thanks.

It was nice. The staff were brilliant at all times, so warm and friendly :) But unfortunately the room was really hot every night. With no option for air-conditioning, we struggled to sleep in the heat. With no option to escape. I also was disappointed in the lack of fresh vegetables variable. There was a great salad and fruit bar but no real vegetable options (just broccoli). We also were unable to book ay of the a la carte restaurants during our stay.

Everything was perfectly, the cuisine in the restaurants, the room (we had family pool villa), sport activities (we had tennis lessons, morning jogging, diving and parasailing). The nature around the hotel is beautiful. See beach is very clean, and water in the see was warm and had a magical blu color.

We have chosen villa for our stay this time as we were with 2 children. Have stayed 6 nights. Everything was good, except reception staff which is non customer oriented.Check in and check out procedure were a nightmare. On the check out we were charged without previous notice a bottle of wine for 200 Eur which we didn't consume in the a la carte restaurant we didn't even visit! And the reception officer couldn't make a refund to the credit card of my husband, which was charged , so now we were told a transfer I'll be done of which we didn't get any official confirmation! When we arrived, we had to wait almost an hour for being checked in. Kids were hungry and willing to go to aquapark, but we were late for both lunch and aquapark because of long check in. While we were waiting no one explained us about the hotel facilities and timings, not we were offered to book an a la carte restaurant. Very annoying! And we still are not sure that we will be refunded 200 Eur for someone else's wine !

Very Bad Management and Directory

The location and nature of the hotel was perfect,but the management and directory of the hotel is too far to reach Rixos management Quality. I am for many years a Rixos customer where I have stayed in nearly all Rixos Hotels all over the world and many times. This stay was the 3rd time in Rixos Tekirova but the hotel management prefered to consider me as a gold Accor member instead of Rixos Customer! When we have checked in in the hotel room there was a big spider,the bell-boy was afraid to catch it so we have called the reception after 20 minutes someone came with chemicals and killed the spider,the air-co was not working properly after 3 times calling no one showed up! The next day they came to check the air-co which was really funny! No room change no apologisez,it is not like Rixos! It gives the feeling that this hotel management is not Rixos management . It is a pitty to see such a beautiful hotel's standarts went down as a typical hotel and not Rixos.
