Bad room service as I asked for baby bed and I wait for two hours also I asked someone to take luggage from my room also no one came and already reserved room by mention two adults and two kids really it was bad experience and I will not recommend for anyone

It was great as usual but I may start looking for another hotel to stay in Dubai now onwards as you do not offer lounge and personalised services like that. Damien my brother is always very kind and one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Returning guest here. The hotel never disappoint me from The warm welcome until my checked out. Thanks to Irene and Jessica of the front desk. Housekeeping is prompt and kept our rooms for two days impeccably neat. Security, pool attendant and Liwan restaurant staffs are occupied but they serve us with smiles. It was an amazing weekend stay and thanks for all the staffs who made it all possible.

My nostalgia with the area has always made me stay at Al Ghurair Swissotel. But my recent two long stays in June and August had a fair share of dissatisfaction with many aspects of apartment and hotel side. To start with Apartments side, the very first feeling one gets is ageing decor and furniture. Couch to carpets shouts for a retirement. Working chair at table is way to uncomfortable to really work for few continuous hours. Aircons controls in most rooms I stayed needed constant attention and noise and smell from Aircon needed to be resolved a few times. Most importantly, mattress in most of the apartment rooms I stayed had completely disintegrated support system and I ended up with a backaches. One of the reasons I choose this hotel is for the fact that I know it uses ‘sealey’ brand orthopaedic mattress. But these ones have been overwhelmed and overused and need immediate replacement. Coming to the hotel side, general aesthetics are fresher and quality more in line with what is expected of Swissotel. But just for some positive and constructive criticism, I would like to highlight a few things. Firstly, Couch needs to get fresher, again Aircons and it’s control unit needs upgrades. I found mattress here to be in a bit better shape than apartments. Shower and shower head needs an upgrade. Finally as for the service at reception, it’s fairly acceptable but something needs to be done about very slow check in process. On two different checkin occasions rooms took an extra hour or two than usual checkin time of 2pm. New and junior staff need to be trained for more practical and off the book approach sometime accommodating some request for customers, specially the old and regular returning clients. This time it felt like staff was just too busy Churning in and out people without much emotions, empathy and enthusiasm. Being too busy and overbooked was something that I kept hearing many times. Middle and higher level supervisors and managers are much better and well trained and responded and approached in commendable manner. I will still return to this hotel given my loyalty to Swissotel brand and trust in its quality and service and my attachment to the location. I hope management and staff appreciate my constructive criticism and up their game in bringing about positive changes vital to thrive in this increasingly competitive industry. All the best!

From the moment we entered the hotel, they have been playing a game with us. During check in, they informed us that breakfast was only available for one person. However, we had booked for three nights and two people. Later that day, I waited one hour for the shower to get warm, then I proceeded to take a shower in cold water. I called the mechanic so my daughter could take a warm shower. I waited another hour for him to show up in my room, only to tell me he couldn’t solve the problem. He told us that the technician would come the next morning and fix the shower. They were not changing our room until I consistently requested them. At 2:30 am they took us in the new room. The next afternoon, we had to call the staff as our bed sheet was not changed. Throughout this trip, the hotel failed to provide us with good service. The hotel also failed to maintain social distancing in the breakfast dine in. I had to constantly request them in order for things to get done and I believe that is a waste of money. In a city like Dubai, I will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

the hotel is good and well kept and is also clean but the customer service at the fron desk was very bad and the receptionists had no time to listen to our complaints. room service is even worse because they dont even come. i asked for a weight scale 3 times and it didnt come. i was initialy given a smoking room even if i asked for a regular room........my assumption is that you are having very few staffs and they are not coping up with the flow of guests. i have been in dubai several times as i am a doctor and ive been at the grand sheraton hotel at sheik zaid road and their service was AMAZING!!! you should try to see the quality of your staffs and the service that you are providing.
