I always prefer if available to choose Ibis hotels. Ibis Bucharest Polytechnica is rather well located, around 10 minutes walk from the metro station. It doesn't take much to get to the railway station and even to the airport, as well as to all major attractions of the city. Clean, safe and nice hotel. Sure to come back in the future.

New hotel. Well designed. Parking place (to pay extra). The breakfast +/-. 5 km from city center. About 500 m from metro station. The restaurant in the hotel: not good. Few restaurants near the hotel - that can be problem. But: good price/value ratio.

Budget hotel with cool furnished rooms, strange location and tiny parking. The hotel is actually located at the end of a narrow alleyway. Although named Politehnica, the nearest subway station is not Politehnica but Grozavesti, which is kind of confusing. The staff is helpful and the rooms are sparkling clean. Didn't try the breakfast, just grabbed a coffee before departure. The coffee was OK.
