such a nightmare experience I had never expected before. The system of ELEVATOR IS SO inconvenient. I couldn't experience any hospitality from staff at all.

And we are very sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. In addition, I sincerely apologize on behalf of the hotel for the disappointment caused by unsatisfactory service at our hotel who visited in anticipation of relaxation and enjoyment during the difficult times due to the aftermath of COVID-19. As it is the first Sofitel Hotel & Served Residence in Korea to be launched while preparing for the opening, all employees worked hard to provide the best service and comfort to customers, but as you said, I could feel that there were some shortcomings. First of all, regarding the panoramic view of the room, our hotel provides as much as possible reflecting your request, but some rooms may inevitably have a poor view of other buildings due to external structures, so we ask for your understanding and we will deliver accurate information in advance. In addition, our hotel elevators are divided for guest's safety and privacy, so we apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers, and we will guide the staff to provide more accurate explanation so that there is no inconvenience in that area. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience in your stay for any reason, and we have only shown immature appearance shortly after our opening, but we will try to improve one by one based on what you have left us to show the true side of Sophitel. The hotel was great and beautiful. I stayed at the club millet room and had a great experience in the lounge having a gorgeous champagne and snacks. But the lobby and elevator was not comfortable and the room was not clean. I found a few hair on the bed and bathroom. Concierge also didn’t answer to the phone.

Since the hotel has just opened, there must have been some regrets over the omission of reservations and insufficient room cleaning, but I was moved by the excellent service of the employees who were impressive enough to forget the previous complaints. In particular, in Latitude 32, I promised to revisit, impressed by signature cocktail and explanation of various alcoholic beverages, and providing pleasant services for customers to enjoy comfortably and pleasantly by david kim’s supervisor And at the front desk, Irene Kim’s staff listened carefully to and comforted the customer complaints that were disappointing during my first visit, promising to prepare a better accommodation next time. After that, I was really impressed with the feeling of being treated as the club millesime service staffs remembered me and said, "Thank you for the revisit." In particular, thanks to John L.'s staff who checked in carefully taking care of each of my requests, I was able to have a really pleasant stay. It was an impressive stay that I'm looking forward to my next visit, and if the system stabilizes in the future, I'm sure it will be an Accor luxury hotel recognized by customers. Thank you for all.

Cleaning/Hygiene needs to be improved

The room seems to be having plumbing issues. Toilet was filled with smell to the level that I couldn't leave the door of the entire opened. I had to hold my breath every time I used the bathroom. When I was trying to take a bath and found a random piece of hair - which was obviously the pubic hair - in the bathtub, which I haven't used.

service was great, especially club lounge staff are all well trained, professional, very kind. just a bit disappointed about evening cocktails menu, too many bread and tart. but overall was good. breakfast was great too, but only I thing I didn't like is attitude of egg station chef, he told me that "plz wait 5 mins" to get my order, but he sounds like irritated to repeat this sentence to guest, haha!

Maybe I had too high expectations for Sofitel Seoul

To start, It was probably a very busy weekend for Sofitel Seoul. Food at the evening cocktail was cold and dry, despite seating were full. We had to wait 40mins for our turn at the buffet breakfast, just to be showed to a dirty table and still had to wait while the table were prepared. We added an extra bed to the booking, and have requested strongly that the bed be situated next to the main bed, but you were reluctant to do it despite our multiple requests. We had to move it ourselves. At the buffet breakfast, despite the long wait, breakfast time were not extended, which would only make common sense. The pool had a booking period and cutoff time of 1 hour, which we were only allowed to book once a day. I wished this was clearly stated as I intentionally booked the hotel as it has an indoor pool. Despite that, the staffs were polite, courteous and very helpful.

From the front door to the elevator, and from the elevator to the check-in, there were always an employee whom I can talk to. Their guidance was just perfect as well as the atmosphere of the entire hotel. Room service and front desk were very nice too.

Enjoyed the newness of the hotel and location; and room (lake view, bath tub), facilities (gym, club lounge) were excellent. Best part was the food - especially enjoyed the pastries (croissants are the best in Seoul). Service was good but not to 5 star standards. As it is a new hotel, expect it may take some time to get to that polished ease.

청소가 안되어서 체크인이 안된다니요. 늦어지는 상황에 대해 피드백도 없고요. 인력을 더 뽑으세요. 애꿎은 컨시어지 직원들만 욕을 듣네요.Definitely need to hire more staffs for cleaning. The check-in was delayed a lot because the room I reserved was not cleaned before 3pm. The room was even not clean, I found a hair on the shampoo case. If the hotel is not ready, don't open the hotel. Only concierge employees are criticized.
