Beautiful hotel to be matched with great customer service. Sean who took care of us was wonderful. Being a platinum member, they were able to upgrade me and my wife to a wonderful room. Sophie Mok has also been very generous with here time. Would definately recommend.

It was my first stay at this new Sofitel in Seoul. It is located in a modern tower in the olympic area. The rooms are very comfortable allowing great views of the city (this is especially true from the 32nd floor bar and lounge). The staff is helpful and quite efficient. While several restaurants are available (and the room service) I found that too few Korean cuisine was available. Nice, well-equipped fitness.

Sofitel was everything you expect in a luxury hotel. I would live here if I could! Loved the amazing view, love the japanese-style bidet toilets, the super comfortable king-sized bed, and the big bathtub. The staff are super attentive and helpful. The only negative thing is there aren't enough elevators so you're waiting for one every single time you need one. But this is more the architect's fault than the hotel's, so I don't blame them.

Great service: I usually don’t mention names but ms flora Kim at concierge desk provides super advice, steered us away from a touristy forgettable dinner and towards a local pork bbq place on nearby food street. Juicy pork with wasabi and special kimchi? I must say it was surprisingly good. And she gave detailed map printouts that even a Korean illiterate foreigner had no trouble finding. Thanks you ms Kim! Great facilities: as a new hotel everything feels new and works well. Fitness center excellent, kids playroom has a fun slide that my kid spent hours in and didn’t want to leave, the business center has big beautiful iMacs to get work done. 5f lobby has some great lounge sofas with a view of the lake u can relax and chill out. Regret not spending some time in the heated indoor pool, will definitely try out next time. Location: conveniently right next to local food street and huge lotte mall and nice lake to walk around. Supposedly there is an aquarium and kids theme park nearby but too many things to do didn’t have time to check. If I had any criticism it would be it’s right next to the huge lotte skyscraper and mall, so traffic can be really congested, it took us 30 minutes after getting off highway before entering hotel parking lot. All in all a great experience and am looking forward to coming back soon.

Enjoyed our 5-day stay in the Magnifique Family Room of the hotel, which is able to accommodate all 4 of us. The hotel is everything that we were looking for, good location, walking distance to the metro, and clean. To help orientate, the hotel is located south of the Han river and on the eastern part of Seoul. Its quite near to Gangnam and is ideal if you are visiting the Lotte theme park. The Lotte Department Store is just next to the hotel, so you are spoiled for choices in terms of restaurants and services. Being a new hotel, all the facilities are unsurprisingly in mint condition. The room is also high tech, with the lighting, TV and curtains etc controllable via a central hub. Service wise, the staff was friendly and spoke good English, check in was hassle free. Room service was also very prompt (the towel that we asked for came in a matter of seconds after our request!). If we want to nitpick, attention to details could be better. In our case, three bath towels were only provided in the room even though they knew four guests were registered. And we had to request for the additional towel over repeated days, though they came quickly :) All in all, a wonderful stay for our family!
