Very comfortable, well appointed room. No complaints. Helpful front of house staff who advised on restaurants open to eat on a Sunday evening. Well situated in the centre of Blois Easy free parking available behind the hotel or you could pay to park in a secure compound.

« Would stay here again »

Great experience. Easy check-in, check-out, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint of that the parking gate was broken and it just took a huge hassle to get in and out of the parking lot.

Warm welcome and a surprise upgrade. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast area with good choices available, particularly enjoyed cooking a fried egg ! Enjoyed the clean warm pool.

« A very satisfactory one night stay in Blois at the Novotel. This was our first stopover in Blois. »

Some further detail in directions to the hotel would be useful. Arrival procedures at reception were good, parking explained though this was not clear before arrival, and our room was well up to normal Accor standards. We would look forward to a longer stay in the future as Blois has a number features which we would to see.

Your hotel felt like a budget hotel. Very inexpensive finishings. Not what I expected from a 4-star rated hotel. Would not recommend for travelers in that range.

Room was clean, but quite cosy for four! Pool area looked unfinished and there weren't many sun beds. Hotel seemed short staffed. Breakfast was chaotic! Tables needed clearing and most of the food run out so we had to wait for it to be replenished.

Everything was fine, the bed for the parents and for the two children were good and the room was pretty and correctly prepared. The only issue was the air conditioning was placed just beside the bed of my child and then impossible to use it

« Great location, lovely hotel, great staff!!! »

Really clean, comfortable room, staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel in perfect, about 10 mins walk to the old town centre which is very pretty and has lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast in the morning was great and it was all reasonably priced and the kids got breakfast for free. Was only staying Blois as a stop over on the way back to Calais but would definite like to visit there again and would without a doubt stay that this hotel.

Once the problem with the air conditioning in our room was fixed, the stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed extremely comfortable.

« Hotel was fine, staff was not great, some basic amenities were missing—overall the hotel was way too expensive for what we got. »

Two of the staff members were rude and unhelpful. We were in town for a wedding but our room had no iron, and when we asked for an iron at the front desk they were completely unhelpful. What kind of hotel costs $140 a night but refuses to provide an iron? I was very frustrated and we had to attend the wedding in wrinkly clothes. The towels smelled like vinegar, which was disgusting. The pool was broken and they didn’t offer any discount to account for this. And the quality of food at the hotel restaurant was just okay. Overall, the hotel was WAY too expensive compared to the experience. I would not stay here again.

« The pool wasn't in service but no-one told us »

The hotel was good however the only reason I stayed there for the night as opposed to one on the many cheaper hotels in the area was because it had a pool and we wanted one day for the children to play in a pool. I was extremely disappointed to be told on arrival,not only that it was out of service but that it had been for over a week. You should have told me earlier and given us the opportunity to go somewhere else with a pool.
