Employees are helpful with friendly approach. Taxi organized by hotel was more expensive than city standard and on top taxi driver refused to drive me airport departure instead he left me arrival and told me to walk to departure. I think you can be more selective with taxi company you are working with. Reception lost twice my visa information and I had to give to reception three times my visa. Other than these, hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Gym and spa were good enough for city hotel.

everything worked well and room service dinners were quickly delivered and nice and hot. only request would be that when settling up the bill in the morning, please don't deactivate the internet. I paid on my way to breakfast so it was quite clear that I'm not leaving the hotel at the same moment (no luggage nor coat etc).

impressive Hotel with superb and very attentive customer service. Location excellent. Absolutely to be repeated. Breakfast buffet outstanding. Only negative: elevators too dark and noisy. Dont need the blasting rock music.

« Wonderful experience, above our expectations »

We had a beautiful stay at the So Sofitel, the concierge services, the accommodation, the facilities, the hotel itself, the impeccable service, and the RoCoCo experience, everything was perfect. An improvement could be done in terms of cleaning of the room which I didn't find perfect, but this didn't spoil our stay, and is the only reason why I rated our stay 9 out 10 instead of 10.

This was a truly memorable experience. The hotel is wonderful with its central location. Even better are the staff who made me feel at home. From the welcome drink, a originally done warm winter cocktail. to the staff at the spa, the restaurant, and the help from the concierge desk. The room was wonderful, creative in its design, views of St. Isaac's Cathedral, spacious, and well equipped with lighting options and a variety of USB ports and regular outlets. Room service staff were exceptional in quickly making up the room, always friendly, and helpful.

I am very angry right now! I asked for a receipt when I was checking out, but the person at the desk insisted that my company is paying and that I can not get the receipt; even though I told them twice that I know I will be paying for it. Then 2 weeks later the charge came to my account; I called the reception to get the receipt on Thursday/Friday. After a long wait the person answering the phone eventually said that he would send it. I asked him to send it as soon possible, and he said that he would. Now it's Sunday, and I still have not received the receipt! So I call the reception again and the person answering the phone asks me to call back on Tuesday.

« Fantastic first experience »

Fantastic service and comfortable room with all amenities needed. My luggage didnt make the connecting trip from Germany but the Sofitel hotel night manager went out of his way, went to the LED airport and delivered it to my room the next morning by 7AM, in time for my business meeting. This was extraordinary and really appreciated.

The overall experience was good.Reception staff (Artem if I remember well) was very helpful and professional .As well as concierge , don’t remember his name ,but name is beautiful and rear :) Breakfast was outstanding! Quality of the food - level “I want to come back “.Girls are very friendly ,professional and attentive . And I loved cool features of the room design and amenities of course !!!! Few comments how may be service could be improved 1)doorman was staring at his mobile phone while opening the door 2) chairs and conference stuff was left /placed on the room floor (elevator area) ,so I was a bit confused when I came out of the elevator on the 8th floor ,thought I came into a conference area 3) telephone history hasn’t been cleared on my phone in the room ,so I could see even the private mob numbers of the previous guest 4)when I was coming back to my room after breakfast, man was fixing the door lock in the room in front of me, he had no “staff” sign jacket or any acknowledgment on him ,he had normal winter jacket ,so I though that he is braking in..:) took me a while to understand that he is fixing smth there Overall experience was good . I was just working in the hospitality business for too long and then you have your eyes for details ..and hotel experience will never be the same again after that :) Wishing you all the best , Kristina

« A good location - well presented - with attentive staff »

From check-in with our friends to leaving after a week and despite a small lift malfunction it was a most pleasant experience. Our lack of any Russian language was more than compensated for by the empathy of your staff. From the front door to room presentation was at a minimum international standard.
