Professional check in staff, huge rooms, I got a room upgrade and good price. Lounge availability with freshly cooked food. Air conditioning could be improved. The room temperature is not going below 24 C.

Disappointing Service, needs huge improvements

Front desk service needs lots of training and huge improvements as they lack basic service skills. During Check-in: no smile, no greetings, no acknowledgement of Accor status, non fulfillment of room requests During check-out: no reversal of security deposit unless prompted twice. During Stay: room cleanliness was one of the worst that I experienced anywhere ever. Most disgusting to see that the bathrobe given to us has food particles and cosmetics marks all over it....showed to the "so-called" room service supervisor. Good Points: The lady (wearing eye glasses) manning the make shift lounge was very courteous and efficient. The service people at the breakfast restaurant were very active and efficient.

Communication prior to visiting was terrific. Bell-hops were super friendly and check in was a breeze. Some of the best service anywhere was at this hotel. The hotel was gorgeous and offered a roof top pool and spa with expert massages. Room service was fast and friendly. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. I would recommend two things. #1-It is important to tell visitors that the USB only works when the tv is on. Also twice I had the hotel call for a cab for me. The first time I got a specialty car that was almost double the price. The second time when I requested a metered car, I got a cab that started at a rate $3 higher and would not accept cash as, "I had the hotel book it." Full disclosure would have been nice. I would defiantly stay there again.

Access to hotel poor via car park

We would like to mention that the hotel is located in the historical part of Dubai, 10 minutes walking distance from the nearest metro station and 15 minutes driving from the major Dubai attractions such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai Creek, La Mer beach. We are regret to read that the early check in at 06:15 am with half day charges was pot up to your expectation which usually cost full day. I stayed in a Junior suite. Furniture was not up to expectations. Electrical switchboard was loose and came out from the wall. wardrobes were not properly polished and patches were apparent. There were spider web in wardrobe. Food quality was good. Staff was polite and helpful.

The price is good and the room is big, but the location is not so familiar, not too many taxi driver know. They said because the hotel name change, anyway, a little bit difficult to find. But overall is good, the breakfast is great. and room is very comfortable
