Room is so spacious considering it's located in Shanghai. Staff is warm is helpful. Underground parking garage is convenient to park and connect to the hotel. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that water takes too much to get warm.

the overall experience is very nice as the receptionists are helpful and the suite is well equipped. just one thing we would really want to point out is the guy who stands at the baggage reception and also an "engineer" (fixed the tv issue in room) is very impolite and playing poker games on iPad when we talk to him. he didn't look at us at all and speak very quietly.

The room is nice and tidy. But some of staff who standing next to the elevator always give the guest a unhappy or angry face, not even mention to greet with guest. And sometimes he will stop us and ask the room number we stayed even though we show the room key already to him. This kind of experience is not that impressed.

There are a couple of problems I faced I would like to address: Stepping into an international hotel chain - Accord - Novotel Suite is a 4 star hotel and for my surprise this particular hotel didn't reach that level. 1 - There are only 1 or 2 staff that speak proper english - Only Miss Dannie helped me with that 2 - They don't exchange US dollars in the hotel whereas even a local hotel does that in any country because if a tourist is out of money he can easily get it at hotel. 3 - There is no room service in the hotel for food, tourists come from different country and everything around closes at 9 pm, after that you are stuck to starve. 4 - I was there for the Automechanika convention and was staying here and last year the hotel had bus shuttle service which they have stopped this year and I guess also stops me from visiting this hotel again in future. 5 - Breakfast last year was better than this years visit.

Hotel room very spacious. Staffs are friendly. It would be nice if they can speak and understand English more. Stayed at Room 233. Bidet in the lower level bathroom is nowhere to be found. The one upstairs is very good. One thing though the aircon is not functioning. Room tends to be hot specially the loft room. Cannot open the window so really it is hot and humid.

I stayed multiple times at the Novotel Suites Hongqiao since it was open. There are points I could accepts at the beginning but that I cannot anymore. • It’s an international hotel and almost no one speaks a word of English, it’s very difficult to ask for anything. • It’s the only Accor hotel I know that has no international TV channel on offer! Just one Chinese channel in English. This is totally unacceptable. • They have apartment and there is almost no equipment in them. Not even a cutting board, a decent knife or even a towel… • The mattress is of very low quality. • You receive a drink voucher being a platinum member but it’s almost impossible to redeem it. • The quality of the breakfast is very low, the juices are awful, no one speaks English…

Would be better if there is bathtub

overall property is beautiful and also beautiful room. we were staying at room 552. The kitchen is invested with small cockroaches. We came here for exhibition and too tired after a long day to report to front desk to change room ( I had some videos and photos with me ) When trying to send a parcel via front desk to hotel manager, Mr. Leow at grand hyatt changsha, the front desk manager ( wearing spectacle, big sized build body ) was very unfriendly and giving us some kind of face. I sincerely hope that he was wearing the wrong tag, as if he is really the manager, then i cant imagine the future of this hotel with all those problems and this kind of service level.

I received a call from the front desk at 1 o'clock in the afternoon request to check out, but my lunch delivery was not delivered, so I asked if I could extend the check-out for half an hour, hoping to check out after lunch. However, the staff at front desk refused very rudely, without asking for any reasons. After I checked out, I sat in the lobby and waited for lunch. I carried the lunch and walked for a kilometer and found a coffee shop to sit and eat. This kind of service made me very sick. I'm a loyal member of accorhotels club, but this time i felt so disappointed.

The idiot at the reception did not give me back my credit card after check out (which took 22 minutes). I had to ask that they ship it to Guangzhou by express mail. They made me pay for the mail. No apologies. no nothing.
