I was lead to believe the Mantra provided top class accommodation - and was looking forward to and happy to pay the $250.00 per night for the experience of staying with the Mantra South bank Brisbane. I could not have been more mistaken. There was a wet patch on the carpet next to the bed, which I discovered when I stepped to get into the bed. There was mould around the toilet flush button- I did not want to even touch that ( I can provide a picture as I took a photo). NO ability to charge the phone via USB,which meant I heeded to purchase another charger - for a "modern" hotel ,I would have thought this a must. WIFI?? hahaha. Also and finally, having paid the excessive amount, I discovered servicing of the room was not included in the price- this needed to be paid extra?? I will NOT stay there again NOR will i recommend any of my colleagues do the same next time we have a large conferenc in Brisbane at the BCEC.

I had booked 2 rooms in my name Glenda F.. Upon check in I enquired to the room number my guests were staying in but Reception was unable to tell me due to privacy reasons. Which I understand, however on my guests check in they were unable to check in unless I was in attendance. Also this form has been sent to my email but my guests name Lisa L. is who the survey has been sent. Lisa is a colleague & has nothing to do with the booking as she was my guest. I had also phoned day prior to Ask if bed configuration could be in singles. I understood that only 1 of the beds in the 2 bedroom apartment could be changed. However on arrival this hadn’t been done. When I went to reception to ask for this to be changed. Reception asked me to remind them when we left the room for dinner. I also had previously arranged a mobile make up artist to come to our room & left details for her valet parking. However again Reception requested that I come down to confirm.
