Walking distance to most attractions or transport in the city. This is a great hotel if you just need a place to rest after colouring the city all day.

Booked through Booking.com. Falsely advertised parking available for $40.00 for 24hrs. Arrived at 10.30pm to check in after following instructions on website to park our vehicle. Once we were checked in we were told parking no longer available. Parking ended up costing more than the room. $99.00 room rate with $127.00 parking cost. front office staff did not want to know! Room had no milk for tea and coffee. Front desk staff advised they ran out!! Nothing they could do!! No bath mat in room with an open shower.. Hazard!! No hairdryer in room.. Once again listed on site but not available.

The hotel is cheap and that’s about all I can say. Rooms are OK but the corridors are dark and very tired.

Janet & Terry F. stayed with susan & Ray H. & noted the hotel is full of rising damp which made the hotel incredibly smelly as well as very unhealthy. There were dirty face cloths under the bathroom vanity. This was reported to front desk staff. Shower door was falling off also

From initial arrival the service was appalling, barely any information was given, it was very hard to understand the receptionist at the time due to the language barrier and we were overall confused. Parking was not made clear until asked multiple times. We had finally parked and arrived in our room where we used the bathroom and bugs came out of the sink, the sheets were dirty, the carpets were stained and the room smelt. Overall very poor service and very poor quality then what was being informed online. Due to the quality we decided to book another room for the night, in another hotel, and was only in the room for half an hour before leaving. We went down to the receptionist to inform him of the uncleanliness and quality of the room and nothing was done and no apology given. Overall, very poor stay and some depth should be given into everything I have informed you of.

Wonderful arrival gift to find my room had been upgraded. The handwritten card greeting me in the room from the hotel manager is something I have not even had when staying in various Hilton hotels around the world! Plenty of hot water in the spacious bathroom and with great pressure as well, the extraction fan to remove steam and stop mirror from fogging could've worked better though, LoL. Very courteous staff, check in and out was fast and easy. There was a smile and a greeting everytime I went past the front desk.

Hotel isn't new but considering the price it is ok. I've stayed at the BreakFree at George though and it was cleaner.

Stayed in a family room (503). Condition of finishes in the room were average at best - carpet stained, walls marked, mattress uncomfortable. The room also had a mouldy smell. I believe that the building needs to be refurbished. The location is good, and reception were friendly and accommodating.

Booked last minute and was able to receive two family suites however they were very cramped with many stains on the floors, poor lighting and lack of mirrors.

No utensils in room, not even tea spoon? Not enough sugar for 2 coffees, bath room nice but step up into it serious tripping hazzard, view ZERO but not what I needed anyway.

The plug for the kettle didn't even reach the plug. The beds were awful, it would actually rock side to side. We had to change rooms because we couldn't close the window in the first room. The staff were very friendly though. But for the price you pay you'd expect better! The pictures online were very misleading. Terrible! The bathroom also had an awful smell

got there early to park our bags then cruise the streets , but we where allowed the room early ,which was fantastic The room was old, but bigger then expected, , only things that where not the best was the rooms 04,05 06 face the street , the buses and hoons on Clarence st could be heard ,late in the night ,early morning , plus in our room we could not get wi fi from the hotel and the room was concrete , I couldn't get wi fi on my phone (Vodaphone) but with this we had a nice chat and family T V session my sleep was great as I sleep with ear plugs , my partners wasn't overall our stay was pretty good Thanks to Anthony on reception who went out of the way to assist us during our stay Overall , I enjoyed your place
