We chose to stay here as we have had friends who also stayed here and had a wonderful time with a good room to stay in, unfortunately for our stay we did not have such a good experience. The staff were very helpful with our request for a late check in, as we had a long drive to get here and a 10pm arrival, but that is really were it stopped. The room was dated, although we really just needed a place to sleep and get changed it would have been appreciated if the room was more modern. When my wife tried to use the shower for the first time she had to step over quite a large ledge to get into the combined shower/bath and was unaware of the very slippery surface the bath had, and as such she smacked the outside of the bath with her knee very badly, causing some pretty instantaneous purple bruising. The next morning the staff member was sympathetic and made sure to document the incident, but didn't offer anything other than a towel to lay inside the bath to stop it happening again, with we didn't feel was enough of a response, especially with how much worse the incident could have been seeing as my wife already has recurring, moderate to severe knee issues. Secondly we advised the front desk staff member that the light bulb in the main part of the room was not working and that we would like it to be fixed while we were out for the day, this issue was not fixed. At the end of the day, even taking into account the ideal location, the only other upsides were the late check in policy and the reasonably priced room.

Close to beach, restaurants, surf club & more, this place is excellent for a coastal getaway! The pool is perfect for kids to explore & have fun if you want to stay in or you are right across from the beach if you want some sand play. So much close by. Rooms are well appointed & have everything you need for a holiday.

We stayed in room 241. The en-suite & bathroom both steam up with nowhere for it to go. I don’t know how you would remedy this as it’s the first floor. The shower screen in the en-suite isn’t long enough & water Sprays onto the floor. The main bedroom is too light as there’s a glass panel in the wall between that & the en-suite. The sliding doors to the main bedroom don’t give any privacy. Could do with some shelves in closet. No coffee table. Could do with a more comfortable lounge with 2 extra seats. There are no fly screens. There was only one baggage trolley & it was too small.

Complex was in a great location but we were told the room was “comfy”... it was super old and tired. Not very clean and the whole time it felt icky.. I will never come back as it was a complete turn off.. especially when there were renovated rooms that we were told were free but still got stuck in old grandmas cupboard.. You guys need to get onto the Reno soon.. View was nice though..

We have stayed there before and had no problem but this time the room had a smell there was Nutra Grain on the balcony and under the curtains near the bed it’s just run down and needs attention had a power failure nothing you can do about that but then security becomes an issue the gentleman on site did his best why not a back up generator??? It’s not the biggest problem in the world but the cleanest in the room was not good

We booked two of the penthouses, which really should not be classified as penthouses. One was modern but small, the other was a bit bigger but in great need of a refresh especially the upstairs. The resort itself was amazing and wish we had more time to use the pool. It was a little disappointing and frustrating that our apartment got the blame for a party/group that was walking around the resort yelling at other units, purely because we had some guests on our balcony while the people who were making the noise and being distruptive were clearly having a party (we could see their strobe lights and hear their music from inside our unit), so that did make the experience quite stressful, but otherwise the stay was ok

We like it except there was no pull out softa in the lounge for my brother so he had an unconfortable sleep was abit dissapointed in that, he didnt have a blanket when we forst got there for him, but other then that was an awsome stay

The facilities were comfortable and convenient. The kitchen utensils needed to be better equipped. For winter there should be quilts provided not one blanket. The unit we stayed in needed larger lounge. The grounds were well kept.

Extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here. My elderly mother and I had organised to stay Friday through to Monday. Friday night was great (no dramas nice room and resort) then Saturday came and we found out he hard way that the above apartment was an Air BNB and that there were no security on site. There was a party going on in the apartment above us, not only were the attendees extremely loud but every time the table or the chairs moved on the tiles the crunching sound would echo through our entire apartment. Around 4am, my Mum had not slept a wink and neither had I, so I called reception and they said they would send security out to the apartment. I am unsure if security actually went to the apartment but at 5am they had finally moved inside however the chair situation was now happening even more and directly above the bedroom! The party stopped around 6am and as we finally drifted off for 3 hours sleep the party started again at 9am. After talking to reception about requesting either to be moved or some form of compensation I was advised that no one was staying in the apartment above us on the Sunday night so there would be no need to move and I would need to call management to request a partial refund. Well guess what…. There was someone that stayed in the apartment above us on the Sunday night, whilst they were no partying, we had another sleepless night as they were for some reason jumping up and down in the apartment and the chairs were crunching again. Management have said that its a pretty slim chance I will be able to be compensated as they would have to request money from the owner of the apartment above and they think he will laugh at the request. I would not stay here ever again. Attached is the audio from INSIDE the apartment and the crunchy sound in the chairs that echos throughout the apartment! NEVER AGAIN. Thanks for the no sleep and lack of compassion for my elderly mother.
