Came here to stay for my Mum's 50th birthday and we had the most amazing 2 nights here! Thank you Mantra 2 Bond Street for the terrific service. It was also centrally located with close access to the local supermarket and food options which was very convenient.

Fab location and lovely staff. Cleanliness of the overall property could have been better. We saw some burger rings spilt on the ground at the pool on Saturday. Covered in ants. They were still there Monday am and bins were overflowing. . Ants in our bathroom shower drain. We loved our stay though. Thank you.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great, with a larger than usual fridge, comfortable lounge, two TV,s, one in bedroom and one on the wall opposite the lounge. Comfortable bed. Clean new bathroom.

Everything was very good on this stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too hard for them. The position of the hotel is very good being near to Circular Quay and the Opera House and also The Rocks area, but also within walking distance to Pitt Street Mall and the City Shopping centre. The only negative really is that the carpet needs a clean.

The Mantra was fantastic right from foyer COVID safe measures to the way the room set up was adjusted to take into account being reasonable about required COVID satanising measures and not having to clean items not used. The hotel had taken out items such as mini bar, pots and utensils all of which was available if needed simply by calling down to reception.

Location of the hotel is great. Check in was fine. On arrival to the room I was surprised at how small the apartment was especially the bathroom. There was a smoke alarm beeping however once I notified reception this was promptly resolved. There was a used band aid on the floor of one of the wardrobes and a corn chip on the sofa. The windows were also extremely dirty. Considering rooms should be thoroughly cleaned during covid the Band aid and chip did not give me much faith in sanitised room. The lack of food and beverage was also disappointing. Room service should still be offered.

You couldn’t stay any more central in Sydney than Mantra in 2 Bond Street. It’s virtually minutes walking from every ,attraction in Sydney: The Opera house botanical Gardens, the rocks, circular Quay and (thanks for the Wynyard walk) only five minute walk from Barangaroo The new George Street is becoming more and more of shopping for Sydney Pitt Street malls, Martin Place and QVB also within minutes walk. There’s is a tram stop at the door. The apartment (2 Bedrooms in the south corner) was surprisingly spacious with nice “NYC outlook” up many new towers up George Street.

Excellent stay apartment was a great size and in a great location- light rail right outside. Close to circular quay shopping centres and with light rail can access all parts of Sydney. Wynyard station across the road as well as a Woolworths for all shopping needs.

Run down and neglected

While its a great location, the rooms are neglected and run down. The tumble dryer desperately needs a service because it makes a dreadful noise. The power socket for the bedside light in one bedroom is faulty. The dishwasher falls out of its hole when the door is pulled open. There is only only one wine glass, one mug - no matching pairs. On top of this, the bathroom is so small that I could hardly sit on the toilet because it is so crammed up against the wall. Yes I'm a tall guy, but I'm not built like Clive Palmer (no offence to Clive!).

I’m not happy with the costumer service, I’m a nurse and I’m using the special offer for Emergency nurses , that time of my check in (Christmas Time24/12/20) I’m still at work so I called before hand told the receptionist I will be at work till late so my family will Come first ahead of me, I left one of my families name to check in but since it’s hard for them to speak English the receptionist was very suspicious and thought that we were canning that I wasn’t checking in. To make it short I have to leave my work just to justify that I am real. I have to sign 2X just to check in so much of a hassle that wasn’t really a big issue in other hotels I checked in. I’m really upset I have to leave work and come back. It wasn’t pleasant at all
