We booked for 3 adults - only provided with 2 towels and the sofa not made up, and nothing to make it up with. When we called and asked we were told they were running short on blankets?? Restaurant wasn't open and no room service - which we were not informed about when booking. Noisy during the night.

Was firstly disappointed that we weren’t made aware when booking that the restaurant is currently closed and the hotel doesn’t offer room service either. Secondly the room was booked for three adults but there were only two towels, etc. and the sofa bed was not made up. The phone in the room was not connected so I had to call reception by looking up the number on my mobile and call using my phone. When housekeeping brought the extra towel it was dirty and had marks all over it, we also didn’t receive a blanket for the sofa bed and when I called again using my mobile I was told they had run out of blankets. The location was very handy to the shops in the city but rooms were very noisy from outside road and laneway noises

Location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - Circular Quay, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo all within walking distance. Room was perfect for the two of us, we loved the floor plan and having a kitchen to cater for ourselves. We've stayed at "higher-end" hotels in Sydney and both commented that we would prefer to come back to the Mantra!

Although we mucked up our dates, the staff at Mantra Bond Street were very helpful and found us alternative rooms without a problem. When we accidentally mislaid a personal item in a room we moved from, the front desk found it rapidly. The rooms were pleasant and it's a great location.

Checked in to a room that was already occupied. Moved to another room but woken up and startled around midnight with an intruder (man wearing shorts) entering room using an key card that obviously worked. Rang front desk and was informed it was a staff member who mistakenly entered the wrong room. Asked for a full explanation in the morning and was told the manager would contact me. This did not happen. The room itself was good with kitchen equipped with hot plates, oven and microwave. A good thing we didn't want to use them though as there was no rack in the oven and no pots or pans for use on stove or in oven. For a four night stay with no servicing during this period, we were not provided with any additional rubbish bags or other essentials. The room was essentially set up for a one night stay. With proper management and attention to detail this hotel could be great. Under current management it's less than a pass mark in my book.

Great spacious studio apartment, comfy bed & all amenities supplied. Staff were exceptionally friendly & the welcoming treats were a pleasant surprise.

An excellent location, but even having regard to Covid-19 restrictions the necessary housekeeping has sadly been unacceptably restricted

Your location is excellent, but I had a stay of several days with no emptying of kitchen or bathroom waste and with no way to dispose of waste myself which was really against all health and hygiene requirements. Beds etc were not attended to by your housekeeping staff. Very disappointing in these very important respects.

Mouldy shower. No Netflix or streaming - just plain old free tv through a low definition tv. Expensive parking Coffee wasn’t restocked I do appreciate the discount; paid for the room at half price as a reward for working through the pandemic as a healthcare worker, regular price is $700 for two nights but the room was so basic i can’t help but think that price is exceptionally exorbitant.

We were happy with the room and facilities however there wasn’t any cookware in the kitchen if we wanted to cook We just worked around it using the toaster for breakfast and cereal I would like to think you could get cookware from reception if needed, however this was not mentioned to is when checking in

We had an amazing stay at the Mantra 2. It was very convenient to get there, with the train station and light rail so close. The staff were so helpful. Checkin and out what a breeze. The room we were in was fantastic. Very spacious and clean. I would have given my experience a 10, but wasn't too happy with the parking situation. On my 2nd day I asked about parking as I knew i'd be coming back to the hotel late. Was told it was $40 which was fine. But we weren't told that space was very limited. So when we drove into the parking to find that space was very limited and all space was filled up we weren't too happy. We parked on the street, and had to set our alarms to 6am so we can move them from the loading zones. We were lucky to get a hotel parking spot at 6am, but it would have been even more frustrating if there was no spot at that time, and i'd have to find some paid parking close enough to the hotel. Not very convenient especially at the time of the morning. Other from that our stay was a wonderful one, and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Mantra

The room was nice and spacious. The staff were friendly when we checked in, however we were recommended to park at the Wilson car park across the road (Aus Square) as the hotel car park was full. The staff did not tell us (but the car park did not have any signs or communicate this) that the car park would be closed on Sunday. The staff on Sunday morning basically said they cannot do anything and that we need to call Wilson and it just felt like it ‘wasn’t their problem’. Given that the hotel recommended we park there, I would have expected some better service in resolving the issue with Wilson.

We have stayed at the Mantra Bond Street on quite a few occasions recently. The location is very convenient close to Circular Quay and The Rocks with the light rail station just outside the apartments. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the staff very friendly. We would recommend these apartments and will be staying again in the near future.

Everything was very good on this stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too hard for them. The position of the hotel is very good being near to Circular Quay and the Opera House and also The Rocks area, but also within walking distance to Pitt Street Mall and the City Shopping centre. The only negative really is that the carpet needs a clean.

We were in the executive suite with kit12 th floor, kitchen & lounge area - very nice room with all the mod cons! Centrally located in mid city. Pillows, bed, line all very comfortable. Will have to come back in non Covid times to experience all the hotel offers, but yes, we did have an excellent stay. All staff we had contact with were extremely polite & friendly.

Hotel is well located close to bus , train , ferry and light rail. Walking distance to all spots . Good range of restaurants and pubs close by. Shopping precincts on your doorstep. Great value for money.
