Terrible hotel

This hotel is a disgrace. The rooms are small the showers are very small. my husband and i are not big people. the cushions on the chairs were filthy and ripped and the carpets were ripped and a trip hazard. We refused to stay there when we saw the state of the rooms. We booked through Booking.come before we went and we were charged full for it. When we got home we tried to get all our money back with the help of Booking.com. we got most of it back but they give us a shortfall of 176 Australian dollars which is about £100. booking.com have refused to help us any more and have taken the thread of messages of our account. I will never use booking.com again

Nothing like the pictures

We checked out after the first night. The resort looked nothing like the photos online. There was construction work going on the floors above our room. Not enough plug sockets either. We are a young family and I was having to express in a tiny corner of the room with no adequate seating because of the lack of plug sockets. Not suitable for families at all.

Noisy and hungry

On arrival we were advised there was renovations. We had checked out of Whitsundays Mirage and at no time told about the noise and renovations even the day before when I was called to Authorise my credit card and confirm my arrival.

If you do decide to stay with us in June 2023 when the refurbishments will be long finished, notes have been made on your booking regarding this bad experience to make sure it is extra special.
