We have a good time and the staff were lovely however, the shower broke twice leaking water everywhere, the bedside light and main light blew, the room smelt like mould and the main track door broke. The food was expensive and not great. But we only really used the room to sleep in and again the staff were awesome.

overall we enjoyed our stay, with a few exceptions. I am a silver ALL member, and when I enquired about my complimentary drinks at check-in, the lady checking us in proceeded to show me a laminated sheet stating I'm on the bottom of the ladder and am not entitled to this. I insisted I was, and know my privellages, but she stood her ground. She finally gave me two vouchers after saying 'Ill just give them to you anyway'. We received no other recognition of our membership level at all. We could also hear almost every footstep and toilet visit of the room above us, and it wasn't very pleasant. We enjoyed the happy hour, live music, and pool.

This has to be one of the worst 3 star accomodations I have ever stayed in.. it was worse than a motor inn. Stayed in the deluxe garden view room, which states on the advertisement level 2 or 3. I was allocated room 114. Ground level, dark, damp and filthy little box they call a deluxe room. Now don’t get my wrong the place isn’t all bad... the buffet breakfast was decent for the extra $25 a day, and they make a nice cocktail. But that’s it. The photos are so deceiving and I think taken maybe 10 years ago!!! It’s sort of like that tinder right swipe catfish profile!! Honestly I’m glad I travelled with my friends because I couldn’t of spent a second in my room besides to sleep and even that was difficult the first night with how damp it felt , like you get into your wet damp bed..and with a broken door (which they fixed the next day). On check out no one asked how was your stay was everything alright? Just snapped the keys back and cya later. Honestly your cleaners need a refresh on cleaning because I don’t even know if the amount of mould on the walls, in the shower and bathroom would pass a health inspection. Anyone reading this avoid the deluxe garden view rooms at all costs!! I would rather camp in the bush!! Furthermore when I approach the reception about my hesitation to stay in the room they gave me, I was told nothing else available. I booked the room 3 months prior to my stay you think I would of been given preference at the time to a better room.. after offering to pay extra they all of a sudden had a better room, I took a look it was just as bad with a view of the car park? For an extra $90.. no thanks. I will never stay here again and I can’t recommend anyone else too stay here either! Feel free to contact me I have photos of the mould on the walls, shower, the fridge seal was growing its own fungi too. Just shocking

Dirty used underwear left in room from previous guests

We arrived on Wednesday 13th and checked out today on Monday 18th with a booking under my name Matthew g.. We noticed that there was a pair of used and dirty underwear left in the room underneath where you can hang clothes upon entry to the room. This was really alarming and unhygienic which lead to asking the question of how well the room was cleaned to prior our stay. Given the state of the world with all that’s going on it really was not a good sign and we avoided staying in the room as much as we possibly could as a result. We notified staff on site of this who did raise the issue via email but no one came in to remove or clean them. Or even offer that for the matter. So we were left in the room with them and it honestly felt like nothing was done to fix the problem. I don’t feel that I should of been charged full price for the room and wanted to make a formal complaint so that this does not happen for another customer of yours in the future. I have attached photos of this in the email and would like to hear back as to what can be done. Thank you

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is a short drive into Airlie Beach. Staff were all very friendly, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay and was ok but the same everyday.

Was disappointed with the rooms that were well below expectations. Very small and lacking in many ways including layout and positioning of basic items ie. power points and lights. The bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade to modern standards also

I have stayed at club croc previously. However I was located in the main building which I now know are newer, much nicer rooms. I arrived at 3pm after a hike and checked in to an older style room (Deluxe pool view). Unfortunately, there was no hot water for the remainder of the day which sucked because I was dying for a nice shower. Thankfully, I had a hot shower (worlds smallest shower) in the morning prior to checking out. Pool is good for kids.

The rooms and facilities were all really nice. Everything was conveniently accessible. My only comment would be that there wasn’t that many healthier/lighter food options at the bistro. All the meals were quite dense and heavy.

I was unable to attend due to bad weather. Days prior to arrival I contacted the premises and was advised a refund is not possible and was unable to change the dates. Very disappointed given Covid and trying to support the local tourism industry. Will be telling everybody to avoid Mantra.

Since we have stayed in different Mantra hotels around Australia, we wanted to try the Mantra hotel at Airlie Beach, by the pictures online we thought that we were going to have a pleasant stay but when we got there, the room we stayed in was next to the rubbish container, and we couldn’t leave the balcony door open because of the smells or no even have a cup of tea on the balcony because of the unpleasant smell. Besides, the bathroom had a horrible smell as well, it was not clean properly when we got there, even though the bed was comfortable and the AC was working perfectly, just the smell in the toilet was horrible, we had to get an spray from coles to manage it. very disappointing stay unfortunately.
