Hi, We never got to experience your hotel as we decided to cancel our reservation the night before our arrival. We call these the hotel to find out whether any changes were made to cleaning / social distance etc and we were told that “it’s business as usual”. We were not comfortable with this response and requested to cancel our booking. Full payment was devoted from our account 2 weeks prior however the reason for our cancellation was out of our control due to the ongoing pandemic. What have you put in place for your guests now? Our priority here at Mantra Legends is the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members. Given our obsession around customers, we are closely monitoring the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and we are working to implement measures to minimise risk of transmission, focusing on trying to keep our hotels, employees, and guests in a safe, inclusive and healthy environment. We are doing everything we can to uphold our high standards to maintain a safe environment, with additional cleaning, disinfecting, and providing hand sanitisers to travellers coming through the hotel. We are undertaking the following measures to maintain a healthy environment: • We are requesting that all guests sign a guest declaration form. • We are working with industry bodies Tourism Australia, the Tourism Transport Forum, State Tourism organisations and relevant accommodation bodies to ensure a coordinated approach. • We are following the health guidelines provided the Department of Health. • We are further reducing risk by exercising additional preventative measures as advised by chemical suppliers Ecolab and Diversey, which include, amongst other measures, increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting throughout our hotel. • We have increased our cleaning schedules in all public areas with a particular focus on hand railings, elevators, bathrooms and doors, using a suitable disinfectant. • Hand sanitisers have been placed in all public areas for guests and visitors to use. • Reinforcement of personal hygiene, proper handwashing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitisers. • Additional hand sanitiser provided in all back of house areas for teams. • Increased communication with our partners and government public health agencies. We both thought our room was somewhat clean and tidy, stain on the carpet just as you walk in the door, but absolutely no complaints , room had a great view. Plenty of room with 2 double beds. Bit disappointing that you have to leave a $100 deposit from your credit card and then when you say take your car parking($20) out of it, oh no we cant do that, it will take 3-5 business days to get your $100 back so you need to pay for the parking separately. Didn't really understand this at all. Staff were friendly though and guess someone needs to look at how this all impacts visitors.

Toxic Room

We stayed in a room on the 4th floor. Upon entering we noticed an "off" aroma. Thinking it was just stale air we opened the balcony door to let in fresh air. This helped but after the door closed the aroma returned. It was sort of like a mold smell but not quite. When I mentioned it to th he front desk I thought it would be taken care of. While out of the room housekeeping came in and sprayed. It smell a bit better but the spray dissipated and the smell was back. Every time we returned to the room we would get headaches. Out of the room the headaches disappeared. Asked to be moved but was told no rooms were available. Had housekeeping come again. She wiped down some surfaces, vacuumed, and sprayed. She said maybe it was in the carpet, shrugged and left. We stuck this stinky room out for 5 nights. When checking out that front desk clerk said she would leave note for management. Maybe the next guess will get an improved room. Very disappointed and will not go back next year.

Actually very disappointed ☹️ in the fact that when I arrived discussed I could not stay the 5 th night and would it be a problem told no would not be charged ! As a registered nurse ‍⚕️ and needing to get back to workplace can you image the euro when checking my statement I was charged !! I have stayed several times there!!! And recommend you hotel As usual the service amazing but will certainly will be when all settles if I would stay there again ! !!! We have stayed with you on a number of occasions but this time everything felt a little grubby. The curtains could do with a clean, the air-conditioning vent was filthy and dusty. I washed all the cutlery in drawers as it seemed to have been put away dirty.

Room is too small for 3 persons. Did not provide enough toiletries as well. The staff is not helpful & rude to us. Overall bad experience. Not staying there again for sure!

Good size room, twin beds, a bath in the onsuit. Nice view sea etc, large door to baccony with the sounds of the sea when it's open. Chairs and a small table outside. A large table inside the room.

Swimming pool area amazing, large reception, bar on a slight difference level, bright and airy. Close to beach, Restaurants, shops, Booking days out keyos, had days out and relaxing time there. Would be happy to stay there again.

Too noisy, bad sleep

Noisy neighbors. Having an interconnecting door only made this worse. Yelling, singing, fighting, loud music. Not sure what language it was. All hours of the day and night. For this caliber of hotel I would expect more soundproofing.

On check in I asked if I get free wifi as I had a mantra + membership and he said the hotel had changed owning companies and it's not available. I stayed there for 4 days only 2 days before so I felt that was a bit absurd and unnecessary. So I stayed here for 3 nights, spent the weekend back at home then came back and stayed another 2 nights. He also charged me $20 per day parking on the return trip and the original stay parking was $15 a day. I questioned the difference in price as I was staying there for training. These differences in policies and prices are frustrating and completely unnecessary. Another thing is the inability of the hotel to give me a tax invoice at check out just because I booked it through booking.com.
