The experience was ok .Wasnt that happy about not being able to park in the car park on the first night had to leave car on the street .Got to park it in motel on second night. Check in was a bit long even though we didnt check in until 4 pm. The room was very tidy and well set up. The rate per night was really a bargain.

After waiting in excess of 25 minutes to check in, the process to actually check in took more time because registration cards were not pre-printed. I appreciate it was extremely busy but for prebooked rooms, registration cards should have been printed and ready to do. In addition, COVID-19 activities were not adhered because I was offered a pen, for which I declined because it had been used by the customer service agent. Unfortunately our room smelled like wet cat, hence the dehumidifier. The fans need replacing because you had either cyclonic winds or nothing and we both froze overnight because all of the bedding (quilt and doona) had been removed. The water from the shower leaked into the bathroom area so you had to be careful where you stood so as not to slip. We were so upset because we have been staying at the Mantra Pandanas for years when in town and this experience has left us to look for alternative accommodation when next in Darwin city.

Disappointed re no room service or extras in the room namely blankets, pillows, pens, writing paper or a book about the hotel or things to do. The restaurant was like a cafe! We ended up not dining there. Our free drink choices were minimal & cheap. The hotel is not signposted re the gym. The car spaces are narrow & very limited. Our view was excellent & our bed was comfortable. TV very small & limited choice.

Look, I waited in the reception area from 1:45pm till 4pm waiting for a room, ruined my plans for an early dinner and beers with mates. (Big thing for me as I live out bush) but it was alright.

Overnight stay - rooms were clean and quiet (at night - some construction noise early in the morning which can't be controlled by the hotel). Quick and easy check in. Parking is available but very narrow parks. Staff were helpful and friendly

Check in is supposed to be 2pm. I did not get allocated a room until 4pm. No apology, just excuses about a “maintenance issue”, then was told it was because the cleaners are struggling because of covid cleans

Some things were a little difficult, I was there for a week and although I knew there would be 1 service I had no idea when as I was not asked on check-in. nor was I advised that there were no blankets so I spent much wasted time looking for 1 and was cold on the first night. The next day I requested 1 but it did not show up. (another cold night) When my room was finally serviced I did not receive any coffees/teas/sugars etc. as the kitchen did not have a dish rack or dishcloths or cleaning brushes etc it was very difficult washing dishes. !! as only 1 person it was not necessary to use the dishwasher

The reception staff on Friday 11 Sep 20, were very busy when we arrived but they were very efficient, and got through the workload in quick time. As I have found on previous trips Denise and Bethany are very friendly and welcoming at check in. Its a pity that the restaurant is still closed most of the time.
