Although initially disappointed (but understood why!) that the pool and restaurant was closed due to COVID, we were thrilled with our experience at Mantra on Hay. Location was ideal and the hotel itself was beautiful. Can't wait to come back and stay once the pool is open!

Stayed at Mantra on Hay. Keep in mind that for an older establishment, it is kept in a relatively good condition. Staff were friendly and professional and any of our requests were addressed promptly. Hot water in the shower had very good pressure and beds were medium firm yet comfortable. We have made a reservation for five but no rollaway bed nor towels were there but as aforementioned, it was promptly rectified. Furniture had some white stains and the window had some dried up toiletpaper / tissue stuck. Overall, it was a good experience but for for the reasons described above, it is best not to have high expectations, then you will have a pleasant experience with great hospitality from their staff.

The start of our stay was perfect. Until we were threatened and later asked to vacate our room because of noise complaints. Once when we were just chatting at 11pm. Another time playing music at 8pm. Overall we were upset anddecided to check out a day early. We loved the room and the staff and would've been regular visitors to your hotel. The way in which we felt we had to walk on egg shells for 3 days ruined all the good things we loved about the Mantra. I doubt we will ever stay at your establishment again. The god things were the friendly staff that work effortlessly and effectively together to create a CLEAN and COMFORTABLE environment in which we could totally forget the outside world. The only bad thing was the issue with the noise. Totally understandable if after 11pm Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

Restaurant was closed due to Covid 19, even though most other restaurants have allready re-opened. Pool was also closed which was one of the reasons I chose the hotel as I could not find any other hotels with an indoor pool. Booked through your website not third party and wasn't informed of closures. For the money I could have stayed somewhere else.

Lovely staff, let down by a bathroom decore in desperate need of renovation. Toilet difficul to flush, tiles in shower look dated with regrouting required. About 2 minutes to receive hot water in the shower (Very sensitive). No snacks or drinks in the fridge. People fighting (physically & verbally) at 2:30am in the corridor. Otherwise bed was made very well, bed was comfortable and the pillows. No mention of facilities available.

Staying at the hotel gave us privacy and comfort. Loved the large living area and the easy access to our car. Also the location is ideal with plenty of food outlets nearby. I only chooose hotels with a balcony and love the fact that there is a balcony. Room service was great with the many choices. Will definetly be back.

room smelt of hair and cigarette smoke (probably from the guy next door who smoked on the balcony all the time). Sheets had spots of blood on them. Toilet was dirty under the seat and all the switches felt greasy and left my fingers feeling the same afterwards

I booked a stay at the Mantra for our family holiday to Perth, upon making our booking we weren't made aware of the $25 a day parking fee or that the pool facilities were closed, this was extremely disappointing as the pool was a drawcard to fill time for my children whilst at the hotel. The website also does not advise that the restaurant is closed, which was also an inconvenience, for our family of four, the Deliveroo options provided were limited and disappointing, we ended up using Uber eats personally. The first night we were there the neighbours above us partied until 4am, they were noisy and disruptive, neighbours were smoking on the balconies and the smoke was lingering into our room. I was also very disappointed with housekeeping as I put out the 'please make up my room' door tag on day 2 and 3 of our stay however our room was not made up for the entirety of our stay.

Was booked at the Hyatt, cancelled by Hyatt due to COVID, Mantra more expensive and didn’t include breakfast! Manta pool was closed but it was not stated on web site. Room, especially bathrooms not at a satisfactory cleanliness standard.

On arrival informed that the swimming pool was closed due to COVID-19. This was not noted on webpage when booking, although was already enforced. Clear bait-and-switch. Too late to change options. My 4 year old was devastated. Apartment nice and spacious and clean. Lots of thumping during waking hours from room above - floors must be really thin. Bathroom in need of repairs - informed staff that toilet seat was broken on day one - not repaired in the 4 days we were there. Bathroom had broken towel rack and leaking shower head. Lovely staff. Parking good and reasonably priced.
