Poor - had booked two bedroom for 5. When checked in was informed no housekeeping over weekend so if need anything would need to come down to front desk. When got to room was only 4 beds and four towels had to ring to request extra bed and towel even though had booked for 5. There was no sugar or coffee and one English Breakfast tea bag. No sponge. Couch in living room had several rips in it. We paid expecting 4 star hotel however got 3 star for 4 star price.

This hotel is really old - and you can see that from the rooms - bathrooms/kitchens have old appliances - carpets and couches are stained. Parking is not available to book - which left me at 10pm at night as a single female to find parking on the street. Worst was that the staff was rude at check-in (and with other clients while I was waiting) and later didn't act to fix problems in my room until they had been reminded twice and it took 5 hours. Not the standard I usually expect from Mantra hotels. (also, when I left a message to reserve the room, my call was not returned)

Your feedback regarding our rooms is noted and we are working towards having these refurbished, however we certainly should not be presenting rooms with stains on carpet and furniture, so I will be following up with our housekeeping team to address. Unfortunately with car parking we have seen a significant increase in demand for this at property level due to COVID. We cannot book car-parks as this doesn't solve the issue as with 177 apartments and 100 carparks if they are pre-booked then unfortunately people still miss out. We have printed off a local map of the surrounds to provide assistance with parking and I do hope the team offered to assist you back to the property for safety once you raised your concerns. I will be following up with our Front Desk team to better understand your check in experience and our failure to quickly address the issues you raised so thank you for bringing this to my attention and I do apologise for your experience. Staff were very good. Helpful, friendly and knowledgable. I bedroom suite was comfortable. Bed was good. Quite dark rooms, caused by the new hotel next door. If you can afford the "room with a view" - it would make the stay even more pleasant.

Asked for two king singles got a king bed that we had to split and make ourselves with fresh sheets. Doonas were brought up with out covers and stained

Reception was welcoming & efficent at booking me in. Room was a good size, a little tired but comfortable & clean. Parking was quite difficult. Spaces were small, even though my car was only medium size. It would b very difficult if you had a large family car

It was just fine. The rooms, particularly the bathroom, are quite dated. A plastic desk chair belongs in a playground or by a pool. It was incredibly uncomfortable to work from and overall very unpleasant to sit in. I'd hope theyare donated to charity or a good cause so that a real chair can be bought in it place. There was what I believe to be small blood splats on the tile skirting in the bathroom next to the toilet. I only noticed this late in the evening before leaving or I would have asked to move to a room that had been properly cleaned. The bath tap dripped the whole time. There was no toilet brush. No complementary milk is disappointing. Having the front door to reception locked all day, particularly when the car reader hardly worked. It's easy to identify the faults, particularly others bodily fluids left uncleaned, but overall it was fine and served the purpose of a bed to sleep in and place to leave a bag.

No housekeeping, i hated it ....... was told i could call reception if i had too ....... i feel like covid is just being used as an excuse to cut back on staff and wages......i spend a week a month in canberra. was a terrible experience .... i have already booked for a week a month later or i would not be back...

On Saturday evening , 20 th Feb 2021, the door to my room 418 was opened by a male, he had used his pass key for Room 407 ,I was resting on the lounge at this time, I had secured the door with the internal door lock, this prevented him entering my room, he called out several times as I made my way to the door, I explained that the room was occupied. I pushed the door closed and contacted reception and explained what had happened, the staff member apologised, came to my room and gave me new keys. As this was the first time I was travelling alone since the recent death of my husband I felt very unsettled and upset by this incident. I believe my security and safety was compromised and I will not stay here again .
