Stayed overnight in the Mantra on Esplanade and was greeted by friendly reception staff. The check-in and out process were easy, and the room was comfortable and clean. Would reccomend this hotel to family, friends, and others wanting to stay at a nice location in Darwin.

I also need you to send me my tax invoice from my 4x night stay last week as this was promised to me and I’m still waiting for it. I have stayed here many times per year over the past 12 years and found the service is not what i have had in the past. in fact a bit disapointing

Unsatisfying and wanted money back as soon as I arrived. The room was not satisfactory at all. Would not recommend, wishing for money back. Much prefer the oaks, cheeper rooms and more Liveable rooms. Also $200 bond took most of my spending money. Didn’t not enjoy the weekend, paid extra for a better room. Was put down by the back packers hotel, could not sleep at night. Would love a refund, definitely not what I paid for. Not impressed

Hotel is in lock down so not fully open so hard to judge a true stay but I will say hotel is dated and our room could have been cleaner. Simple things like dust on top of the tiles in the bathroom. Sliding doors to washing machine need a wipe over, not a lot but not the standared I expected.

Great location, friendly staff. Fabulous pool with a view! Would have liked to be able to place our recyclables somewhere ( not sure if I was convinced that they were able to go somewhere for recycling. There was an issue with one of the lifts being stuck for a period of time, but all else was great!

Brief, we booked for 6 nights and stayed for 1. Rooms very very out dated, the floor would have been more comfy than the hard bed. Mantra has the name for luxury accommodation not a dive like this experience..

Long time members of the mantra club Stayed 10th. And 14th Took 20 mins to check in with booking already in place Booked 14 th stay on-line but it was mixed up and 1 double bed in lieu of 2 singles it was changed on the day after check in but still in inconvenient. $100 CC charge is kept .i am told 10-14 days for reimbursement . I don’t this time frame unacceptable Last stay for me

Stayed for two nights during a holiday in Darwin. We didn’t have a car so wanted to be close to the city and within walking distance to attractions such as the waterfront area as well as the shopping precinct. We found the room to be quite nice, large king size bed, fridge, coffee and tea facilities, wine glasses supplied which we used for wine we had with us. There is no cafe or bar so you need to bring your own supplies. The bathroom was very basic and needs an upgrade. Overall for the price the room was ok and very clean

Much of the hotel closed due to Covid-19. The constant noise until 5:30am from the backpackers behind the hotel and behind Shenanigans hotel was ridiculous. I will change hotels if I have to stay in a city side room again.

Room was looking very tired and was quite dirty. Carpets needed to be vacumed even dirty tooth pick on the floor. Glasses were also dirty. Looking over the balcony to the below floor there was fry pans and empty bottles everywhere in the garden. Room was sold as harbour view but only being on the first floor it is more like harbour glimpses.

Communication was an issue. I was not told I was required to pay a ‘deposit’ in my email or any contact. I was told in my email payment on ‘checkout’ but was asked to pay on check in. Blankets were not provided which is totally unacceptable. I don’t care about COVID excuses. I was laying for a penthouse. Just put a blanket on the bed and don’t expect customers to ask. This also was not communicated and my mother froze all night and had to use towels to keep her warm.

Brief, but always good- I love the fact that you can adjust air conditioner from your room. It can often be way to cold, so it's great to be able to manage.

Had a great experience at the Mantra. Room was nice, although noisey from the hostel below. Staff couldnt have been more helpful moving me to a room at the front of the building. Overall a lovely experience

Room was nice (if a little dated/tired) but unfortunately it was situated above the backpackers on Mitchell Street which was very noisy for most of our stay. Also a little disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open (we weren’t told this prior to booking) but understandable due to the current situation relating to COVID-19.

Would stay again but ask for blankets as you don’t realise till 2 in morning there is none on bed or in room. Was great for our night stay, clean tidy, good water pressure. Free wifi. Close to street with pubs and clubs. Had oceanview. Was quiet on this side of building. I did ring to book room but was put on hold and waited 5 min to be hung up on so booked online. Was quick and easy.
